ello there.
now i have 2 bill isk and wish to make another player very happy.
the way this will work is on the uk national lottery bonus ball.
49 numbers in total.
cost per ticket 50mill
end date will be the week all numbers have been bought.
max time of lottery 4 weeks. if all tickets have not been bought i will refund all isk sent.
anyone can play, mains or alts. only numbers i have received isk for will be valid. if you ask for a number and dont send the isk b4 someone else asks for same number, they get the number.
if you can think of anything i have missed please say, but basicly for an investment of 50 mill you can be 1950000000 better off if you win.
and please remember i can not scam you. i will be banned from eve for scamming on forums. if you need proof i have the money then please mail me in game

With the greatest of respect, proof you have the isk is not necessarily proof you will pay that isk out on a winning number. May I suggest letting a trusted third party hold the 2 bill until the numbers are confirmed?
With the increase in forum scams of late I wish you luck in your endevour if it truly is legit.

Also remember that as of a few months ago CCP no longer prevent scamming on the forums... the only transfers they protect are game timecode cards and character sales.
Nice idea though, and a nice profit for you if enough people go for it :)

well there is no prob with scamming. Heikki has ran lotteries on here b4 and will hold the isk once i can talk to him. i have no intention of ripping people off and would just like to make some honest isk out of ths. i am hoping a few of my corp m8's will buy tickets so's to show it is a lagit lottery.
anyway. enough of how it could or could not be a scam, i appreciate the comments and sugestions but please im trying to get this going not stop it b4 i sell a first number lol

anyone thinking this... i creat a character, say hey all its a lottery, then i have an alt say well you should use a third party character so that its honest.. lol, then i have another alt pick the winning number, wow i won.. i didn't see it coming. then i kindly thank all the suckers that fell for my scam.. :) and wish them better luck next time.. rinse repeat...

oh my god what is wrong with you you retard. cant you keep your comments out of others forums. what is wrong with your mind. 1) this is not a new char it is a 1.6 year old char. 2) the other guys on here i have never met and are not my alts ( wish i did have an alt in bob) 3) the result is pickedfrom the uk lottery, i do not pick the winning number nor does an alt.
i will now close this and restart again. keep you sick minds to your self. just because you would not think twice about scamming people does not mean i do.
i do not want my name in game thought of as a scammer and never have scammed anyone. unless you know othr wise stop hyjacking other peoples forums without good reason.

That seems to be a common approach. Should you bother to read the posts here, it seems the OP is after 'scam proof' approach. Which certainly is a reachable goal.
Basic steps are:
- Method to select winner is public and tamper-free (already in use by the OP)
- Winnings are backed by entities whose 'reputation loss' is far greater than the potential gains
Anyway, the OP's lottery is better payback ratio (==chance to win) than my old lottery, which generated some 1.2B revenue.

Yes, I should say that I was not accusing you of running a scam - just warning people that because it's on the forums doesn't make something scam proof any more.
The model for the lottery itself seems good though.

not you bud. just i hate it when i want to try something good and people with nothing better to do come in a say im scamming.
anyway will try again later. with heikki holding the isk ( as above) he in no way would get involved if there was the slightest chance i was gona scam.
