Ok so i haven't used my absolution for missions yet but i was thinking of a Heavy beam setup. Came up with this one but haven't tested it yet, But what do you use?
Mine atm:
Highs: 6 Heavy beam II
Mids: 10mn Afterburner II, 2 Eutectic Cap Rechargers
Lows: 2 Med rep II, 1 Kinetic Hardener II, 2 Thermal Hardener II, 2 Heat sink II
Drones: 5 Hobgoblin II
Resistances are 83 Kinetic, 86 Thermal, 70 EM, 77.5 Explosive
7.3 Damage mod, 2.6sec RoF with command ship lvl 3.
I run missions in Gallente space so fighting Serpentis etc..
Amend my setup however you like, as i said, i've not tested it yet so no idea how it does..

You might run into cap problems.
Maybe not - NOS range is normally short while Beams are used at meadium to long range.
My Abso is running 7xpulses, a cap booster and a partially passive tank.
I swap out hardeneres and membranes according to the opponents. Normally 2x hardener, 1x damage control and maybe EAN

I'm hoping i won't have to use both reps because of the range and resistances, I can run both reps while firing for a while but my cap does die after about 2 minutes of constant repping and firing. But that was with no cap rechargers, pulse lasers and a med nos.

I know eos has slightly worse cap, but it takes 4x t2 cap recargers to keep 7x 200mm rail and 2x med rep running for any considerable amount of time.
I think on absolution i'd go for 1 med rep only (buy corpum), and add some badass cap relay & try to get higher resistances(absolution rocks there).
And you really want 90% web on it.
I don't know if this fits but:
6x beams II, 1x something
domi web(yay), 2x t2 rechargers
corpum mar, corpum th membrane, 2x eanm, hs x2, 25% relay.
Another relay if needed. Depends also on rats you shoot, but eos with reactive + 2x TS eanm can tank pretty much everything with 1 core rep though i have 1 mar for backup and i almost never need it, but resistances are considerably lower than on abso, not to mention sucky dps.

absolution only got 6 gun slots.

He wants to do missions, you don't die there. And speed = money. I think i'd get back isk from buying gistii xl booster (b,c type) in a day or 2. But luckily i got it from tiller.  . Vanilla t2 setups don't really work in lvl4 missions when everyone is running their pimpwagons in empire hisec and bashing down implant prices. You won't live from rewards too well.

This will allow you to run most missions on lvl 4.

My mission setup and rating in Querious was like this:
6x Heavy Pulses II
1x DB Medium NOS
1x Domination AB
1x Domination WEB
1x Serpentis Traking Comp.
1x DB MAR
2x DB EAN
1x DB Thermal membrane
2x DB HS
1x DB CPR
And with armor res. skills lowest is kinetic with 84%.
you can change the pulsed and nos for beams and heavy missil luncher.
PS: Same fitting with T2 mods isnt much worse.
