kwoodward	Posted - 2003.10.22 14:22:00 - [1] Having got curious a few nights ago i wondered what would happen if i fitted 3 MWD's on my thorax (just for fun ) i added 4 overdrives in the low slots too, besides not having any shield left all was normal. So i exit the station and power all the MWD's expecting to go fast, OMG you go fast i saw greater than 50km/s yes km and coasted down once the cap had gone 1200km from the station just a few seconds later just wondering what speeds you have all managed with or without mwd. ps no point to this it's just fun Meow!
Black Lung	Posted - 2003.10.22 14:39:00 - [2] About 1.7km/s with 3 LiF afterburners and 2 partial hull conversion overdrives (i think thats what they are called, the give +31 speed) on my Incursus, w00t. Best part is I NEVER run out of cap.

kwoodward	Posted - 2003.10.22 15:14:00 - [7] Edited by: kwoodward on 22/10/2003 15:15:59 no don't get me wrong this is not from bumping it's just stright line speed. 3 MWD's oviously must give you a stacking bonus try it you can re create it away from a station or any other colideable object i wonder what speed you would get bumping something but sadly if your aproacing sonething the spuper speed boost does not work you have to be pointing into free space Meow!
voogru	Posted - 2003.10.22 17:11:00 - [8] If you do a "Show info" with your MWD's on it will show you your maxspeed with 3 mwd's on (on chaos I put 5 over drives (+ 32 speed), and 3 MWD, max speed with them on was around 480KM/sec Perfect for running thru blockades, you can be warp jammed webbed the whole ball of wax but you can still outrun them. ------- Your 425mm Prototype I Gauss Gun perfectly strikes Guardian Enforcer, wrecking for 827.3 damage.

A corp mate, who was watching, said 'one seconds I was right next to him, the next I'd disappeared' The only stupid question is an unaksed question. Phaethon	Posted - 2003.10.22 20:25:00 - [10] Edited by: Phaethon on 22/10/2003 22:12:13 Back before the nano's were nerfed I took my scorp for a spin with something along the lines of 0 mass, 3 ab and 5 mwds. 0 mass came from 4 loot nanofibers in the lowslots and means instant acc I did u-turns with 350+ km/s. Hit top speed at the moment I started the burners, and could orbit with 4km/s at 5km. Then Tomb got his hands on the nanos, now the only thing they do are add a little speed and some cargo space WTB. Jarjar	Posted - 2003.10.22 21:06:00 - [11] 13,509,164,199 m/s is the max speed for my scorpion with my skills, without overdrives. I won't ever reach it due to cap issues though (besides I don't have 8 Quad LiFs). (0.09au/sec , people claiming 2+ au/sec FROM MWDs and not secure cans.... well.)

I ended up 700,000 km away on one cap full. Think my shields were down to something like 10 with all those MWDs fit. It took something like 5 minutes to slow down enough to warp back

But when the agility bug was present: Fit agility mods in lowslot to get close to 0 agility, and then fit 8 LIF MWDs in the med slots on a Scorpion. Should hit warp speed(2au/s) in notime. Max speed should be like 20,000,000,000 m/s. (Not sure, but that should be like 13 au/s or something like that) However, from what I heard, the game crashes... M.I.A. since 2004-07-30
