Hi Everyone - I was wondering if any of you pirates in Eve would tell me how to protect myself against you. lol I know its alot to ask but any setup for my cyclone would be appreciated. Have a great day.

It depends: what do you want to do?
The generic answer is 'be wary'. It's more about your attitude than about your setup. Specific details depends on your planned actions: travel through lowsec, hauling stuff, hunting in belts, missioning in lowsec etc.
Or for generic ship setup guide: WCSes and flameproof suit.

I'd be happy to help. Try this setup, you can defend your self AND make some isk:
8 hi slots - put three heavy missile launchers with FoF missiles. They work great. Very predicatable, they do exactly what they are supposed to do. In the 5 turret slots, put Miner II's, as many as you can fit. You can mine while you wait to defend yourself against the bad guys. Free money!
5 mid slots - Leave these empty, they really don't do much anyway. It just adds weight to your ship, and you don't want that!
4 low slots - put some really, really expensive Cargo expanders in the low slots. They can be very profitable...errr....I mean, useful.

Situational awareness is your best defensive option. Get good at noticing the local traffic, staying aligned, and so on.
The thread for Cyclone setups is here, and there's lots of good stuff. Keep in mind the Cyclone requires three skill trees to be really effective; drones, turrets (arty most likely), and missiles. In the hands of a skilled pilot, it can be very effective.
Not so skilled, it's a flying deathtrap and an easy kill.

cant help you on evading those pesky pie-rat types, but a cyclone config that will stand it's own

note this is primarly a pvp setup, a change of midslots will set you up for pve

Meccros's set-up is solid, though I would drop the cap booster for an 10MN AB as you should be getting plenty of juice from you 3x Nos.
