Making a 12 jump run from lonetrek to forge, 11 jumps of it is an emergency warp on the other side, and 1 jump was normal. The jump that was normal was the regional jump from lonetrek to forge.
Why dont you just shut the whole game down and work on it 24/7 until the issue is resolved? Surely complimentary subscription days would be a motivater to quickly get it fixed.

With 16k players online, I get this message when trying to log in
Your character is located within (0-O6XF), which has reached maximum capacity. You are #1 in queue for entrance. Please try again in a moment.
That's it. If the game gets to the point when I can't log in when I want to log in... the limit has been reached. It's not acceptable, plan and simple. The map shows 17 people in this system, btw... This line is a signature, not part of the message. |

Maybe CCP should try disabling missions for a few days to see how much of an improvement is noticed? If it is a massive improvement, then the culprit of the problem will have been found and remediation could take place.

im in favour of tripling the size of missions and disabling PVP instead

The mission lag could perhaps be solved by having fewer but harder npc's instead of a million frigates that go pop every second.... :)
I dont really know what is causing the lag though. Might not be mission runners at all.

When I where a mission runner months ago, I did not experience lag ever. But in PvP fleet battles I have, like yesterday. the forces where pretty evenly matched with aprox. 40vs40, but the lag where so bad it crashed our node, and every single person in the battle had to relog back in.
So I doubt it is the missions. I think its the massivity of players, everyone firing their guns, missiles and NOSes, with more, thats causing the lag.
In general, I have no clue. All I can do is make guesses from experience.

Do like me.
Train long skill, cancel your 4 accounts for some months, and come back when you are no longer fed up by the queue when entering a system with nobody inside, when you are no longer fed up to wait 40 secondes so your ship fitting panel open...
I know many people who actually canceled their subscription and are not sure if they will renew it when it reach its end... simply because its unplayable in the actual state.
(no you cant have my stuff, i'll come back and blew it myself if eve never become playable again) _________________________________

This thought has been weighing heavily on my mind even before I made this thread. I dont want to go away mad, but if it doesnt get fixed soon then I may have no other choice.

I could careless about empire jump queues but queues in 0.00 need to go, i can't sit around orbiting a gate while there are hostiles in the system/constellation.
