Im not so sure about this "playing in your own language" thing. Even if I had my own language built in, i would use english. But I guess thats because im a computer geek and very used to english. Teenagers with bad english skills might find it useful I guess.

Where? US advertising? Other than web based...and a few game mags, where is it? Or is it web based and a few game mags that is being referred to?

Just because they aren't advertising with highway posters near you, doesn't mean they are not doing something.

They've been doing alot of web-based advertising, f.ex with sites such as Penny Arcade, and that whole advertising conglomerate.
