I watched the Jihad:rens/jita assault videos on the video forums. My buddy was trying to high sec gank in a caracal, with two failed attempts. I thought get a cormy/catalyst combo, light neuts, and mag stabs. well being a lil*****y, i thought a hauler/barge would be too easy for two dessies set up to gank in high sec before the CONCORDOKKENN. sooo .5 system, osprey mining into secure can. poor fella sat there. letting us get to opt range and non moving.
primed all guns, locked popped the osprey in 3 volleys. almost had the pod needed .5 seconds more.
poor unsuspecting miners. MUAHAHAHAHAHA there is no safe space! Yarr

Only in relation to Gen Humpers. :P
I think the Jihad is in the sense, however misguided, of the suiciding for the explosions.

I dont know Arbic, but what little the Brittish Education system told me that Jihad means struggle. A farmer, struggling to keep his crops alive is a Jihadist, as he keeps the struggle going.
The correct term in this contex I guess is Greifing - To **** people off!

Doing what I do in the country I am in, I get the distinct pleasure to hear and see the many facets of Arabic and Muslim culture. (They are different, if you didn't know.)
Jihad does indeed mean struggle. Only the folks on TV and some misguided leaders of certain sects of Islam have twisted the meaning of the word into a war-like connotation.
For instance, as I understand, a Jihad could be something as simple as struggling to get out of bed in morning because you didn't sleep well. Or getting your kids to eat broccoli. Or trying to stop playing EVE as much, which is probably the most difficult Jihad of all. 
I predict lockage of this thread.
