Gents,
I am just above 1.2M SP and after the sisters epic arc, looking to give more meaning to my space experience. Important to me is to find a corp that is active after the daily server restart since this is when I mostly play on week days while being more flexible on week ends.
I did a tiny bit of missioning and that got me bored quick, therefore I switched to exploration. Mining is too boring to be done unless AFK, I make money by looting rats!
At this early stage, what seems interesting to me:
- PVE: exploration and incursions (I understand those are the pinacle of PvE)
- PVP: 0 experience so far but this is where I want to focus since this is after all what EVE is all about.

wormhole ratting then incursions, exploration is right there above mining. null sec ratting nets good isk as well.
but 1.2m Sp wont get you anywhere near that. i would suggest continue missioning and exploring, take your exploration out into low and null sec, you will die a lot, but you will learn a lot. unfortunately, i am pacific timezone. i go to bed right as you get on.
i wish you luck in finding a corp
if you are interested tho, Tao Teh Anarcho Dragoon is recruiting mining, industry, and PVE pilots. tho, the few of us are mostly USA time zones.

I'm not a recruiter but ...
Join the recruitment chat channel Brave Dojo in-game and talk to some recruiters about joining Brave Newbies Inc, or one of its sister corps.
The alliance is run out of null-sec and is active pretty much 23/7. At the very least, there's always the defense fleets up and running that you can join to get some pew pew done, as well as scores of folks wanting to teach newbros like yourself how to survive and thrive in null.
If you're actually interested in mining, and interested in doing it in null, then look towards the sister corp Bovril, in-game chat recruitment channel is BOVRIL NEW. We run out of null just 5 jumps away from BNI, and have our system locked down pretty tight - we get less invaders than BNI, but we also take the few we get very seriously and hunt them down doggedly.
The alliance we're a part of is huge. It's no small fly-by-night mob that's here today and gone tomorrow. You'll find exploration, pvp, pve, industry ... basically everything you can do in eve (even FW, although the FW corp isn't a part of the alliance due to FW mechanics). There's free skillbooks, free newbro fit ships, ship replacement programmes, all sorts of things to get a new player set up and ready to have a hell of a time. |
