I hear all this whining from PvP types...Why doesn't this miner with no defenses hardly take back his ore that I just stole so that I can attack and kill him! Hmmm this is so lame man if only this guy would take back what I stole I could have some fun! Well dude it is because that would be stupid and Miners are not typically stupid. We learn to mine is high risk areas alone and survive with little more than some drones to help fight off would be pirates. So when we can choose not to fight a battle ready ship that is why. Go out into 0.0 space and become a real pirate why don't you or at the very least stop complaining when a miner does not respond to your extortion attempt!

Why do half the miners I have stolen from start there rant in local like this "Screw off (random name calling) I'm not a macrominer!!"
Are they dumb enough to think I care?

What would be nice is if everyone in a mining gang could attack the thieves with no fear of Concord reprisals. Once the pirate steals from one person, everyone in the gang can shoot him, even if in different corps. Or better yet, if help could be requested via an emergency hail to all local ships or some such thing. That would put the pirates back in there place, a nice little egg pod. |

Well first off I am not talking about me perse, I am talking about the PvP whining about weaker people not wanting to fight a PvP equipped to kill when they are in a miner and not ready to fight.

Of course.. Who would possibly think that you were NOT talking about yourself "perse".. 
Your reaction is what most ore thieves thrive off of.. It's so easy to get you riled.. It's like mean horrible little children poking at an animal in cage with sticks.. You get all frustrated and roar and thrash about... And they think it's funny.. They are bad people..
Other ore thieves just want to provoke a fight.. With your barge, with your mining cruiser, with your battle cruiser that you bring back to the belt, whatever.. The ore is inconsequential, and simply acts as an item to fight over.. Why not in 0.0 space like a "real pirate"??.. Well 0.0 isn't the greatest for "pirating".. It's better for Alliance warfare, empire building, and ratting, but not so much for being a "pirate".. Pirating involves fat complacent merchants and miners waddling aimlessly thru space waiting to be plucked like chickens.. Not many of those in 0.0 space.. However, tons in empire, hence why "pirates" hang out and pester you in empire space.. The phrase you were looking for was "like a real pvper".. There is a difference.. Even then, pvpers sometimes just get the urge to kill a puppy.. That puppy is you..
And finally still other ore-thieves do it with the hope that perhaps one day you will grow a spine and fight back.. Maybe not by yourself, maybe thru cunning tactics, traps, corpmate gank squads, whatever.. Just something where you don't sit there like a bump on a log allowing people to utterly abuse and urinate on you.. It's the reason why many carebears get a bad rap..
Of course that's just what some people say.. I have no idea myself..

u know all the mission runners that save there lps for implants?
well without pvp what would u save your lps for hmm cause if no pvp there would be no need for new implants.
whitin the first month everyone would have 5 +5 implant clones 
i know this was about can flaggin but carebear is a carebear.

Last night I ganked a pirate megathron in my arazu. The guy cursed and screamed and smacked in local for about 30 minutes about how i was a "gurl" for "not letting him target me". Im sure this had something to do with me killing him from 40k away while I had his lockon range dampened down to about 5k or so. But did he really expect me to go head to head in a relatively squishy cruiser vs his battleship ?
Whining isnt limited to just ore thieves.

I'm an ore thief. Not because I need the ore. Because miners have it too easy. Hell, half the time I end up just blowing up the ore because I can't be asked to bother hauling it back to a station.

There is nothing more boring than that and the rewards of mining in High Sec are just ridiculous compared to mission running.
Hmm, why shouldn't a miner attack you with some drones while you cann attack him with weapons drones and whatever? I think perhaps he is not completely stupid.
Could it be that you lack the balls or skills to fight someone equipped equally?

I quite like the idea of an emergany assistance button, that sends a message to local ships ........ allthough i feel i should point out the only reason i like it is because it would bring more silly carebears to the nice big pirate fleet waiting ready 4 them

You/Them are in a corp. In under 10 minutes of taking the ore a combat ready ship - generally one class above what the thief uses, appears.
So i/we generally have to deal with a cruiser or even a BC/BS while doing this most of the times. So ... I don't see what is you're problem.
PS: You were accused of whining because even though you have the ability to write well - and edit well, the tone of you're OP is acid and quite ... whining. :)
LE: I seriously doubt that 5 tech 2 light or medium drones can't deal with a Indy. If that is truly the case, then you are one of the worst miners I've ever seen - what miner doesn't have drone interfacing.
