Ok in my corp we have a thread where we put in who we think is a hero for whatever reason, could be they helped us or saved you from being pawned or helped you when u was a noob.
as long as the reason is legit i want ppl to post here there heros from the eve universe.
Its about time that those who help others in eve are mentioned and thanked.
to kick off i would like to say my hero was Groppo Digmore, i was a noob and in low sec and this guy help me alot. he let me come along on lvl 4 missions and even let me keep th eloot.
also gave me millions in free stuff for the short time i saw him before my corp moved on. This guys was just the bees knees and would always help those needed it and if the local pirates came to hassle us then he would turn up and they would run.
Quite simply this man did alot for my future trust in others in eve and which i try to help out where i can.
I dont know where he is now but thanks buddy and all the best.
so guys something like that please if you dont mind. also i dont want any flamebait on here as this is just to praise those worthy of it. If u flame then i guess theres a reason why you are not mentioned here.

Roue.
On my very first day of eve, he spent....hours and hours ingame with me teaching me how to do...everything. Back then the tutorial was crap, so roue was my tutorial. He told me how to mine, we went and shot a few NPC's, it was great.
Without him, i probably wouldn't have gotten addicted to eve.
It also happens that he missed some "meetings" on TS. Those meetings were talks on whether COD should enter into what would later be called the GNW.
He is an overall great guy. His eve knowledge on all aspects of the game surpasses anyone i've ever met.

I spent my first few days / week in Jita mining and being amazed and a bit overawed by eve (hadn't played mmorpg before).
As I mined pyrox in a belt one night a char called Rizzen Foehammer struck up a convo with me and over the next few days introduced me to his corp and even 0.0 (quite exciting for a n00b)
He helped others the same way, advice and isk, great guy.
Unfortunately not playing any more due to RL problems wherever he is ' I hope you found some peace'...
