Yes and to run 2 clients you need to have them installed to different directories

if you mean "is it allowed", then yes :)
if you mean "if it possible?", then yes :)
if you're gonig to do it, however, make sure you install EVE in a second location (ie, c:\program files\ccp\eve-2) so that you don't have two instances running from the same install, as it'll slow things down.
good luck!

I have successfully ran two clients from the same directory with no problem. But it is best advised to run from two different directories, with sound disabled, in windowed mode. The audio coding isn't the best, so disabling sound is the best way to go.

I've run 2 accounts on the same computer, off the same directory. Just click on that EVE icon again, and go!
I did not have to disable anything, but then again, I wasn't going into PVP combat either. I was just changing skills, and then exiting. So disabling certain parts might help improve stability/performance, neither of which I cared about when changing skills.

yep, I run 2 accounts. I know ppl that have 5 or 6 accounts going at 1 time lol. just makesure you install them in separate directories. If you have trouble setting up a second directory then just copy and paste your current client into a diff directory (i.e c:programs/eve).
