I've been doing the Event Mission, which you get to start by turning in the Graduate Papers you get when you start out. I play a Caldari, as the Achura race.
Mission is called "The celestial Imperative" and has 5 parts.
I'm on Part 4, where I have to go to a moon in the same system as the agent, and find someone called Kikko. Flying to the moon you find a mining outpost with a warp gate. Using warp gate gets you into some deadspace type areas (or stages if you like).
I killed everything in each stage, all the rats, and all the sentry guns, then progressed to next stage until I came to the last one.
At the last stage was the NPC character called Kikko, as well as a watch tower thing, a jump gate, a container called "Kikko's stash" and a rat.
I killed the rat, talked to Kikko, which lead me up to a part where I could reply:
"I found this data sheet in your stash Kikko. It has some pretty incriminating evidence... blah blah blah"
So I fly over to the container called Kikko's Stash... it's empty. I then proceed to destroy the Watch/Control tower. Still nothing in the can. I attempt to destroy the jump-gate, but it has a gazillion health, so I gave up that. Still no data sheets in teh "Kikko's stash" can.
I warp to station, redo everything from scratch, killing all rats and sentry guns etc. But still nothing spawns in the container.
Hence I am stuck, since the silly NPC wants me to have Data sheets in my cargo, and the can is empty... catch 22.
Any clues ? Respawn time on the data sheets? I miss something underway???

Just buy datasheet from the market and deliver it to the guy :)

I just did the same mission today...mission is kinda bugged.....but like Invizita said, go buy a data sheet and give it to the guy...worked for me ;)

I am archura and got the papers. I never figured out what to do with them. Who do you turn them in to and where?

My wife is struggling with this mission too, she's got to the 'Dented Cask' and it's empty, been shooting the npc's that turn up when she goes away from the cask, but it's still empty.
She's frustrated, I'm frustrated as I'm trying to help her.
She's tried buying a data-sheet from the market, putting it in her hold and going back to speak to the agent, but the agent says one or more parts of the mission haven't been completed etc.
Anyone else have any ideas??

Again,, it's quite simple: just approach the agent (with the datashhet that you bought in your cargo hold) and speak to him about the supposed datasheet found in his stash; It worked for all of those who were there. Otherwise, make a petition...
I have another question for those who delivered The Celestial Imperative: does anyone remember the name of the character that Aviekko Ta is referring to after the 5th mission is over ? Or are we supposed to wait until the next patch ? (because I did not get the ideea and I did not put down what he was saying about seeking another character). In other words, does this storyline end here, with this mission, or can it be continued ?

Thanks guys.
I bought the Data Sheet from market, had it in cargo hold as I went back, talked to agent, and voila, he accepted it and progressed the mission, and giving me another mission as well.
Not sure about the "Dented Cask" one. One I did had a can named "Kikko's stash" which was same name as the agent wanting the Data Sheet.
Maybe the Dented Cask one is another race, and not the Achura storyline one, although, no reason for it to not work with a market bought Data Sheet like the one I had did though...

This strikes me as a clear indication that this mission is fundamentally broken. Having to purchase what should be a loot item off the market to complete a mission, because the item itself will take some time to respawn, is silly. As evidenced here in this thread, it leads to unneccessary frustration and dissatisfaction.

I too am wondering the name of the agent referred to by Aviekko Ta before you complete her last mission. Why? The reward she gives you for completing the mission, important surveillance data, is supposed to be an item that this guy wants. It really clearly suggests that you're supposed to find this fellow right afterward, but i can't

I believe I have fixed this mission already. The spawn timer is now very short on TQ.
About the surveillance data, the agent you are supposed to give it to isn't available yet. The data is just given out now because once he is available, people who have completed the mission earlier should still be able to accept his missions.

What if I dont have that Surveillance Data Chip anymore, as all it did was litter the hangar? =X
Does that mean I can't do the successive missions once the agent becomes available?
*pouts at self for having a tidy hangar*

I don't know when the next missions will be implemented, so I wouldn't worry about that yet.

Thank you for the prompt response zrakkor, it answered my question. Otherwise I think all the bugs are worked out. I followed right behind someone in the mission and had no trouble.

Why was the tutorial missions changed? I was just doing them with my alt to get the standing bonus and +1 implant as you used to ... then I got "stuck" but guess that answer explains why there isn't next mission... Guess I just wasted my time

Zrakor, thanks for repairing the mission; still, is that final indication of the agent Aviekko Ta true ? Are we ever going to find a continuation to this story in a system close by ? And how does this feature "Find a character" work with some agents ? Because I found only one agent that you can ask this type of question: Can you find the character named... Is this related in anyway to the storyline missions ?

So is this mission actually fixed? I just tried to do it on an alt to get the standing bonus and the dented cask never spawned anything for me for quite some time. Without the key I can't access the jumpgates past the first part of the asteroid colony.
I am caldari, fyi, if that makes a difference.

Well... I finally got the dented cask. But I still don't understand how you complete this mission for Caldari.
I jumped to the 2nd part of the mining complex, killed the structure and got the key to the 3rd part.
Warped to the 3rd part, got the 3rd Tier Overseer's Personal Effects from another structure... but no key and no jumpgate to a 4th area. But there are no in space agents here? What else is there to do? I'm totally lost... this mission needs to either have better instructions... or be turned off if it's broken.
