Ok, so drone control range is alittle confusing to me. Here is how it says it works ingame. Each rank of scout drone operation give you a 5000% increase to drone control range, and you start with a base control range of 20km, right? So why with 1 rank of scout drone operation do I have a control range of 25km. And if it is a typo in the skill, what about the drone link augmentor module that gives an increadable 20,000% increase?

think the link needs scout drone to lvl4.. not sure though

Drone range works like this:
20km Base range
+5km per level of Scout Drone Operation
+3km per level of EWAR Drone Operation
+20km for each Drone Link Augmentor module you equip
Max range with just skills is 60km, plus any Drone Links or other bonuses that you happen to have. None of the skills work on a % basis, they're all +Xkm.

ok so what about the bonus on carriers being a 200% to drone control range?

That's a nice simple 200% Increase to drone control range. As far as I know though, fighters have no control range cap.

you can assign fighter to fight at locking range... they will follow the target until target or the fighter destroyed/jumped in plex/docked oder jumpt out of system...
k or until you call it back^^

Addenum:
20km base range
+5km per level of Scout Drone Operation
+3km per level of EWAR Drone Operation
+20km for each Drone Link Augmentor module you equip
+5km per level of HAC skill if using Ishtar HAC.
Max range with a normal ship and skills is 60km, and with Ishtar 75km, plus any Drone Links or other bonuses that you happen to have. None of the skills work on a % basis, they're all +Xkm.
Control range is checked from the point of your position. In case of sentry drones, they can shoot to about 100-120km but you need to be within control range both with the drones and the target.
IE:
Drones <---50km--> You <---50km---> Target.

Aye, I knew there were some ship specific range boosters, but couldn't remember which they were. Didn't want to confuse the matter with things I didn't know
