I am looking to buy a toon for a 12 year old terminally ill boy.
I donate time at a local children's hospital in the terminally ill ward. I belong to a charitable organization that provides games for children who are stuck in bed all day. Usually we provide used gaming systems that people donate, and raise funds for new gaming systems through our community outreach program.
Recently I was introduced to an amazing kid, he's very intelligent, outspoken but stuck in bed 24/7.
He dreams about space, and once introduced to EVE has wanted to play no other game. Unfortunately, his current state will most likely prevent him from realizing being able to play a character with any skills, as it takes far too long for him to train skills, than he most likely has time to train.
I would transfer one of my own characters to a new account for him to play, but I only have my own toon, and have yet to get involved in the game deeply enough to start an alt myself. So this is not possible. I am willing to spend every isk I have to obtain a toon that this young man might be able to play, and once having located the right toon will start a new account so it can be transferred. I have committed myself to paying for the account.
So I am looking for a Tengu pilot that can do more than just sit in a Tengu hull. Scanning skills would be great, a cloaky toon would be wonderful, and missiles trained so that it's useable in exploration sites high/low sec space, etc.
I have 4.2+ bil to spend, I have a Vindicator and a Rattlesnake both with T2 rigs I would be willing to throw in the deal, for something decent enough for him to enjoy.
I would greatly appreciate any help, I would even be more than happy to add something else to the deal to sweeten it if I am able.

Friendly bump. I would contact CCP, maybe through customer service, if this is a real thing. I'm sure they'd be more than willing to make him a special toon or find someway to hook him up.
If this isn't real however (I'm not accusing just making a statement as this is EVE after all) then you should be banned.

Good suggestion, I had not even though of that...
It's real, problem is his being underage I cannot give out his personal information as proof, without his parents consent, and I don't believe they are going to give it.
But thank you, I think I will contact CCP.

Except you couldn't give that information out even if he was an adult. It's called HIPPA... |

Thanks for the offer, I'm going to contact CCP and see if they will want to do anything, just need to figure out how to present it so that it can be looked up.
This is a unique situation as most of time we are able to fund gaming/computer systems. It allows the kids to engage in something outside the world they seem to be stuck in.
And thank you to the person who posted the toon above as well. I'm going to liquidate some things, I think I'll have enough to buy a decent toon for him to use. Really appreciate the suggestions and help. |
