Joder Empire Assault Corp	Posted - 2006.09.22 15:29:00 - [1] I have myself a few spare iskies and would like to treat myself and buy a faction battleship. Now I have Amarr and Gallente BS skills to lvl 4 but dont have any other battleship skills. So the question is do I get myself a imperial geddon etc or do I train up another race of battleship eg minnie and get a bhaalagorn (sorry about spelling). I also only have hybrid and Laser skills atm so fitting will also come into this decision (eg I dont wanna have to train projectiles as well as the minnie BS skill) Also value for iskies will come into this I will would like to use this ship as my PVP battleship (special occasions only ) Anyone have any thoughts of the route I should take? FraXy Caldari Celestial Fleet Ascendant Frontier	Posted - 2006.09.22 15:35:00 - [2] I`ve looked at Bhaalghorn several times, but every time the setup is gimped by too little cpu and sometimes grid. Very difficult to setup, but if u find a Golden setup i`m sure it would rock. Vindicator is nice. Fairly cheap with like 700-750 mill for BPC if u wait for a good deal. Minmatarr BS only increase cap so getting that past 4 isn`t crucial, but does pay off. May have some cpu trouble with a faction tank and midslot layout, but with some creativity it can be absolutely devastating. Hope i`ve been of 'some' help. This is my lazy attempt to make an uber-signature, please go away!
MuffinsRevenger EmpiresMod	Posted - 2006.09.22 15:40:00 - [3] Concidering that there is only one imperial geddon ingame, that would be pretty damn hard geting, but if you like amarr ships then you could ither go and get yourself a navy issue apocalyps, this i would recomend since it's one damn hawt ship, or a nightmare (this would force you into geting caldari bs to 4 atleast, but thats not a that bad thing) you could also get a vindicator/navy thron depending on what you want

Posted - 2006.09.22 16:14:00 - [6] I'd say train minnie battleship to l4, and treat yourself to a vindicator. 2nd cheapest faction BS at the moment, and quite possibly the most devastating (Watch the video 'Wave of Mutilation' 1 and 2 to see what im talking about). It's a very, very good battleship, when fit with something like - 7x electron II, Heavy nos Mwd, Web, Scram, Cap injector, Multispec ECM Dual LAR, Damage control, 2x EANM II, Faction expl hard, 2x Damage mods. I hardly ever activate my second armor rep.

How do you fit it? 4 officer mega pulse, 4 cruise launcher II (I like to have the option of precision missiles if needed) gist b-type 100mn AB, TS web 14km, 1 TS cap recharger, 1 officer cap recharger 1 core x-type armor repair, 1 TS large armor repair, 1 corpum A-type EANM, 3 centus x-type hardners, 2 TS cap relays. 5 medium II and 5 light II drones I think that's about it. still has room for improvement.

Add 4 launchers. Add +5% cruiser/siege launcher ROF bonus. That's a Nightmare for you. Devilish tank, poor damage, CPU problems. Looks pretty... different. - Three years old

I would use siege launchers but it's cpu output is just too low :( btw the armageddon does have 8 high slots but only 7 turret slots and no missile bay...

It has a good base damage output with a ROF bonus both for missiles and turrets, but if you want to use some dmg modifiers it's not the best ship for it. with maxed skills it's base dmg is more then enough for any npc situation.
