My agent has just offered me a mission against "The Seven". (the seven's prison facility)
I wanted to get some info on them before making them angry at me and lowering my standings. The mission has no info tab and none on the website I can find. Is there any info you can give me or anyplace I can look. Thanks - SM

i Something urgent just came up. A convoy delivering foodstuffs to was ambushed in by pirates which we identified as members of The Seven . There pirates have crossed our path before, and are not to be taken lightly. They belong to an organization which split itself from the Serpentis many years ago, and has grown quite large in a surprisingly short amount of time. I'm not aware of any background stories or additionals infos, although they might exist somewhere. They don't seem to be a real corp or faction so I think you don't get a faction loss with anybody.

The Seven is a small crime syndicate that doesn't even have their own faction for you to make angry. They're just NPCs to beat on without consequence, like the Mercenaries.

Yeah, small-time crime syndicate.
If you're looking for mission-relevant info, use thermal. Lots of thermal.
For more specific information, EVEInfo.com has some very nice stuff.

Beware the Rogue Mercenary missile spammer if your tanking isn't that hot. I don't remember which damage type his missiles are though--maybe EM, but don't take my word on that.
