I think I found an amusing irony in Eve. :) I am working on learning assault frigates and realise that from 0 skill point it takes about 34 days to learn the basics (mech 5, engin 5, race 5, spaceship 3,AF 1). The irony is that to learn my way to a battle ship it would take less then 2 weeks (about 12 days for race 4, cruiser 4, spaceship 4, battleship 1).
Now I know that with learning the weapons for those it evens out so this is NOT A WHINE. Its just a small irony that I found amusing. Hope you find it amusing as well.

there is a difference between flying and really flying
any one can train to fly it but you will die to a .6 belt rat if you dont have the surport skills
factor in the gunnary skills and class level mods and battle ship and af are probally fairly close ----------------------------------------------- I lost 5 sp of skill trainning time during the last patch an i demand that ccp refund it to me |

Edited by: Matalino on 23/09/2006 15:19:08 -Edit for spelling. More to the point Assualt Frigates are T2. T2 always takes bigger skills. If you want to compare training times compare T2 to T2 and T1 to T1. How long does it take to train for a T1 BS vs T1 Frigate, or how long does it take to train for T2 Battlecruiser (Command Ships) vs T2 Frigate (Assualt Frigates).

"Irony can be pretty ironic sometimes..." Commander Buck Murdock, Alpha Beta Base, the Moon, as quoted from Airplane II - The Sequel
I think the OP found something they thought interesting to him and maybe the Eve community. I know I thought about it for a minute. Please don't discourage people from posting by denigrating them because they dont match your dictionarial prowess.
Thanks =)

Some people should train "sense of humor" to at least level 1.

I have "Advanced Tactical Humor Operations" level 4 atm. I was going to wait on 5 for when I was ready to begin the Starbase lounge circuit but I guess I should start now...?
Didn't see the humor in the statement.
