I had some questions about POS Mobile Research Laboratory units and how they function. The only description is "Portable laboratory facilities anchorable within control tower field". In other words not much. My questions are:
1. It says "Maximum Concurrent Operational Users - 1". Does this mean just one BPO at a time or one user with multiple BPO's?
2. How many BPO's can it research at one time?
3. Is it any faster then an NPC station to research (speed bonus?).
4. Can you research the BPO from a nearby NPC station remotely so it isnt at the POS itself? I read someone saying you could do this but there were no details? If yes how does this work?

it's drunken dev language, means nothing, i've had 2 or 3 people using my lab when it was up, with bpo's queued up

each lab has 3 me, 3 pe, and 1 copy slot, in theory someone can use em all at once

25% faster(it has a speed bonus)

depends, if the station is same system and you have research project management 1(or more) yes, if the station is in another system no

Thanks for in info Franny, had been wondering about that as well, though this info should really be on the Lab Module info :)
Just one comment on the remote research, there is a skill for doing remote research as there is one for remote manufacturing. These let to do research up to the whole region depending on how far you have trained it up, I wouild think that if the POS is within your range you should be able to do research remotely.

you would think
the skill works two ways
1) if your x jumps from the labs and the bpos are in the station with the labs, you can research them
2) if there is a mobile lab and the bpos are located in a corp hanger WITHIN the same system as the lab
and yes 1 and 2 work together so you can remotely research to a mobile lab if you meet ALL the rules

The bpo must be in the corp hanger, division.
Because the tower/pos is anchored for corp, owned by.
clk research, whatever, select from the drop down, corp, instead of public/self
labslots appear in window, clk away..

I may be rong but i think it meens you can only have 2 reserche labs per pos
