May I ask why you want hulk bpc?
Is it because you find the ships too cheap to buy or hard to move to deep 0.0?
Putting the print in lab for a 2 run copy means you give up production of around 4+ ships (more if there is a queue in lab for copy). It is a potential 2b sale, that has to be covered by the bpc sale of 2 run hulk bpc.

Indeed, logically a bpc would cost you more then a ship.

i was looking for a BPC because i find the 450-500mil price tag a bit stifling espically if i have access to the minerals and skills to build them. that and the fact that i will need a few of them over the coming weeks, for a few diff mining ops i got planned with a number of mates. how come it has a 2 bill price tag? does it take longer to copy a BPO than build it or something?
do hulk BPO owners really have the Hulk BPO running the whole time, i would think the market would be flooded with hulks if they had.

Ofcourse they have the BPO's in the factories at all times, otherwise they'd be missing out on billions of ISK. And as one of the above posters mentioned, it takes about twice as long to make a 1-run copy BPC, as it does to build one ship. Therefore, you won't find any bpc's out there, and if you do, prepare to pay 800m-1bn for it.
