Ever been in a corp that has slowly died as people move onto other things or just stoip playing 
The CEO goes AWOL
The whole leadership structure suddenly collapses
So have we, but we found like minded pilots and formed our own corp, a similar minded bunch of die-hards, where RL does come first, people take "vacations" from eve but often return, where the corp runs for the enjoyment of its members.
