Just a quick question about fueling your POS. Will it go offline instantly if I remove the fuel, or will it do that when the "hour"-cycle passes? And if so how can I find the cycle time? |

When it hits the re-fuelling point, I've often removed fuel thinking I was putting it in (wrong window syndrome) and they haven't gone offline.
You'd have to be real unlucky to get it go offline at the point the fuel was due in. ___________________________________________ http://www.eve-tutor.com

keep the tower management window open at the fuel-tab when putting fuel into the tower. It prevents the wrong window-syndrome

Huh? I thought each POS has its own depending on the time it was first onlined. At least that's what I have observed.

POS Tick is based on when it goes online. I try to make all of my POS start thier online at XX:30 eve time so it goes online at the hour mark... low fuel warnings (intentional to check) come in at the hour mark after that. so the pulse of the POs is on the hour mark if i start the onlining at the half hour mark.

Be warned that the POS clock will gradually advance. In the last few months I have had POS's move from xx:05 to xx:20 and others have noted this as well. This seems to be a gradual advance, not sudden change.

The low warning mail should be enough to know at what time NOT to refuel by moving the fuel out then. Thanks. |
