Yea i was loitering in an electronic intelligence vessel in algogile...
M0O and TLBC were making runs with "BALLS" bigger than any players i have seen, at the friggin 3 to 6 battleships camping close to the base. The only carebare whining i saw was from Techell. Both M0O Players and TLBC were proffesional, outgunned and still gave it their best. Hats off to you guys.
Techell will fall its a matter of time. If not financially simply from the dishonor of idiocracy they display. If i hear you guys whine again about the M0O and TLBC fellas and gals im gonna ignore everything you say. You all acted like a bunch of twelve year olds. You should have just been confident enough that you had numerical superiority, that would have went without saying.
At least they put it in your face, and i will relish the day when your ships sink like the Titanic at a snow party. JOBS - Got Moin?

Yes. Maybe its time to point out that the combined numbers of m0o+tlbc is less than half of techells estimating techell has 70 active members.

Hmm you're trying to tell us moo and tlbc took suicide runs with their ships in a 1.0 system to strike at Techell?
That's just stupid, not heroic

I can assure you Indigo that it isn't always suicide attacking an enemy with more numbers than you(within reason of course). In fact due to our corps size we very often have to engage in these circumstances. Although its most definitely riskier, when your properly set-up and orgainised it is very possible to come out on top of a battle even with lesser numbers, we've done it on many occasions.
However if your not set-up/orgainized against this larger fleet..LOL, BOOOM,you will very likely learned what that beloved term "PWND" means.
And BTW kennian this was not a re-hearsed PR stunt. Plz dont start saying stuff like this.

War, CONCORD will ignore everything between the two corps (including podkilling).

eaglefour, you must have the attention span of a prepubescent monkey.. Just because they "might" have behaved themselves this once,(was not there so am only agreeing for the sake of argument) doesn't make them honorable. Those corps are nothing but greifers using any and every exploit to there advantage. How pathetic is it to engage in battle, fly off and quit corp so you can draw in concord to do your dirty work?

I like how people call us a carebear corp because of our "stength in numbers", so then lets compare numbers shall we? LBC and the new M0O are around 44 players strong with NO alts in their corps. Techell is NOT a corp designed for war and we currently have 97 characters(NOT people) in the corp. Im being more than generous when I say 2/3s of the corp are all production, research, mining characters/alts and the rest fighters. So that leaves us with about 32-33 people that pilot cruisers or battleships and that don't have the pvp experience that our enemies do. Im not going to compare people that are currently active because Im sure LBC/M0O have their unactives as well and it would not be fair for either side to compare those numbers.
By the way we didn't delare war and "force" them to come attack us in Algogille. Once again it was greed that led them to our doorstep and not the Miner 2 "issue" like everyone believes.

Edited by: EagleFour on 23/10/2003 21:14:32 Hey techell, keep up the whining... your post affirmated my statement.
Dont like you techell one bit. Dont like how you rip off players with the CCP wand of blessing.
Dont like the way you smell either.
Really... i simply just dont like your attitudes.
Power means you weild it with some responsibility and leadership, if not your no better than the rest. And you guys are... no better than the rest.
I saw you guys camping next to the station, easy enough to jump in and get fixxed up i guess.
I have utterly no respect anymore for Techell. I used to sing your praise back when you were very small.
Now for example.. recently i needed to speak to someone in your corp so i log on to techell... and type and type 50 people in the channel not one response.
probably cause you all were up to your knecks with people wanting you dead.
Matter of fact i may very well join the war wagon with my 1 man corp just to take pot shots at yall while moo and tlbc has you bent over like an actor in deliverance.

Edited by: Shock on 23/10/2003 21:38:31 Yeah to bad the system can't cope with people fighting...
The grid seems to end just a couple of km next to the station and the fact it's so busy is not helping either I guess.
Sad that so many people are just flaming on Techell since they can't flame TTi no longer. It's no longer considered 'cool' I guess.
And all everybody can say is "Miner II this" and "Miner II that"...it's getting stale and not really fair.
It's like telling people should always bring the wallet back to the owner, untill they find one theirselves. And we didn't find or get anything, we worked for it...hard!
Ofcourse that little newsitem Of Lemetar who doens't seem to like Techell isn't really working either .
Quote: Once again it was greed that led them to our doorstep and not the Miner 2 "issue" like everyone believes.
I think the ones actually fighting us in algo couldn't care less about mining lasers. I think the care more about strong Alliance corps kicking them out of their usual fishing spots and the pirates that can, coming to 1.0 space and have some fun by declaring war. And who else then Techell.
I'm not whining though, there's a Dutch saying: "High trees catch a lot of wind"

Quote: Dont like you techell one bit. Dont like how you rip off players with the CCP wand of blessing.
Ignorance is bliss they say, but if it results in mindless remarks like these I don't see why.
I totally agree it's unfair that the ships that Kel'dra and the others lost to MOO's little 'trick' were replaced so swiftly.
Perhaps because there was a Polaris dude there at that time, I don't know, wasn't there at the actual fighting.
You say we rip people off, how is that? By offering the lowest prices for battleships? By offeriing the best prices for all medium and low minerals? I bet all you can say is 'Miner II'. Though I admit we made good money at that, I still can't see why it's such a problem.
This game is all about money making. And if we were asking too much for them, why has the price then still hardly dropped even though the supply is now many times larger?
Quote: Power means you weild it with some responsibility and leadership, if not your no better than the rest. And you guys are... no better than the rest.
'The rest' who are that? All the other players? What makes you think we were better, or we were trying to be better, or we were thinking we were? You think you are any better then the rest?
And for us having power...yeah we have, but only financially. We have some people who can hold their own in PvP, but not even close to the actual power some of the larger Alliance corp can field.
On the other hand, we never claimed we have, we never tried to claim territory, we never tried to actively hunt other corps or competitors. OK now we are fighting MOO and TLBC but they started.
We know what we are good at and try to stick that: selling battlehips.
Quote: I have utterly no respect anymore for Techell. I used to sing your praise back when you were very small.
So you hate us because we're big? Is that it? Because the way Techell is doing business has hardly changed as AFAIK. Quote: Now for example.. recently i needed to speak to someone in your corp so i log on to techell... and type and type 50 people in the channel not one response.
You're blaming us for all those people camping in the Techell channel??? Hey I don't like it anymore then you but there is hardly anything we can do about it.
And for the lack of Techell reps being online: Just look at Playboy what happens if yoiu trust too many people. There is that little thing called 'patience'.
Quote:
probably cause you all were up to your knecks with people wanting you dead.
No just a bit more very verbose people flaming Techell because it's suddenly the hype. (how did that happen?) --- soonÖ |

they just can't keep up anymore with the big aliances like FA and Stain so they went looking for an easyer target i guess.
trust me they are giving you a favor. months back pirates came invading fountain loads too and we lost quite some battleships to them they even blew up 17 battleships in 1 battle off us once...... but we learned from it and now we got a very KICK ass combat team operation all over eve space to hunt down our enemies.
you guys at techell probebly got a lot of isk (seeing our own profit from miner II bp and then triple it with about 10-50 times... you can easely have all your members lose there battleship a few times and still got money left... ) this all gives you guys a very good opertunity to learn real first hand pvp experience against good opponents also with the money to backup your up you could grow into a very strong corperation. You might just wanna recruit/train more people into pvp.
goodluck with the war Techell and stop undercutting with cheap miner II dumps
