Seen them mentioned on here, and the other day a corpmate got hit by what I must assume is a snowball.

They were special items given out at one time. They're like weapons, but they don't do any damage and don't count as an aggressive act. If someone hits you with them just ignore it. :)

they appeared in peoples hangers around xmas. then everyone could have snowball fights without concord attacking you.

You can sometimes find snowballs (and the special snowball launcher) on Escrow. They cost quite a bit, though.

corp mate of mine harassed a macro miner with some last night. make sure you zoom in on the explosion so you see the nice detailed little flakes
