Alrighty then!
I've started doing storage missions again, but this time at level 4. My questions are:
1) Is this an easier way of getting LP's than combat missions? Yes I know the security missions have nice rewards and bounties, but for now I'm only confident doing lvl 3 missions in my domi. I'm not really after the money (some of the missions have good payouts, I can do lvl 3 security or mining for more money) from these missions...
2) What's the largest item you've had to carry? Basically I'm using my old Iteron 3 to do the work :)
3) Would it be a good idea to buy a transport ship? Namely the Viator due to its speed bonuses (even though I have a mwd on my itty and a single cap charger) even though it actually would have less cargo than if I were to use an itty 5 (I'd need to train it up so I could use it anyway), because it only has 3 low slots!
Any recommendations for making these storage missions a little faster would help greatly (I hear the words 'instas' come to mind, but don't have instas for the Tash-Murkon region!).

Largest I had to carry was 5000 m3 of cargo containers. But I do lvl4 combat missions normally (they are more fun).
I'm using the other Gallente transport ship, when I have to do some hauling. I fix it up with 4 cargo expanders and 2 nanofibers, giving me 15,000 m3 of cargo space and something like 150 m/s base speed. switch on the MWD and I'm up to 800 m/s does hauling pretty fast. I don't use the itty V anymore, as I got podded being careless in low sec and I like this additional hitpoints.
Regarding the instas, either look somebody up, who is selling them - even though the prices must have gone up, after the BM-copy-fix, or start making your own for your usual routes. -----------------------------------------------

I think I've just had a cunning idea after talking to my corp mate about it...
Why not simply use an Iteron 5 with a MWD and either overdrive injectors or nano fibres? Use the meds for the MWD and some cap boosters/batteries and should be sorted.

I have an occitor that goes ~1500 m/s with 6,250 m3 cargo. can pop it to 9k m3 and reduce speed to ~1100 m/s. Unfortunately lvl 4 fighting missions are STILL more fun than jumping around endlessly. :P

I use a sigil for lvl 4 transport missions. With 3 cargo expanders it carriers almost 5000m and I have never been asked for more. If you want it to be really quick at a mwd and take oout a few expanders for smaller loads.

I think there's one that requires you to move 100,000 m3 of stuff, but I've only seen it come up once.

No industrial ship is able to fit a Mirowarp Drive. Only transport ships can fit it. Occator usually on sale for 80 mil. ISK and you have to train it too. The cargo isn't as high as on Interon 5 though.

I had few times the "various deliveries" before patch. i should move about 5x cargo of 2-3x iteron5. It has taken about 2-3h to complete, with bookmarks to most of the systems (90-95% jumps through bookmarked insta jumps). I had to warp about 6x into low sec (!) and got a reward of totaly 2M (!) and some crap LP (cca 3000LP).
It was a low quality lvl4 agent. But i still wasn't aware, that low quality lvl4 agent has much more risky missions and much less reward than lvl3 warfare agent.
If you find this fun, you can use them ... After patch all courier missions, including lvl4, seem to be doable with i interceptor/frigate and 1MN mWarp.

I can squeeze a MWD on a Mammoth, with good skills, 2x MAPC and 2x RCU (IIRC). Cap is significantly drained by one cycle of the MWD though.

Isn't the number of fitted Cargo Expanders affected heavily by this fitting ?

Sure, but it proves you wrong when you claim that no industrial can fit one. ________________________________________________

The Mammoth still has enough cargo space without expanders to handle the 5000m3 (as quoted above) of the largest likely lvl4 courier mission. :)
