Recently bought a Legion pilot for running combat sites. What're some good fits that I could use as well as preferred pirate faction to combat? I've heard Blood Raider are weak against Legions.
Thanks! |

Try to keep it under a billion, already have hull and a few subsystems ready. |

It certainly works well. Carry IN multi for sure. I tend to have 6 each gleam and aurora as well. Platinum tags make life easier but aren't required. Oh, and you might want to carry a suitcase just in case for 5/10s. 6/10s are a breeze. Annexes are your other target. Don't even bother with mannex. Like all strategic cruisers, it won't go into 4/10s. |

What about scanner?
Would I need mobile depot? What subsystems would require the scanner? Any?
Also. What is a platinum tag? |

Carry a depot if you want. It can help but it limits your cargo space rather severely. Combat fit gets carried around in the scan fit. |

"Also. What is a platinum tag?"
Some tags are usefull to skip the first room if someone just did that room, since there's a locking mechanism prohibting entering the second room, tags are used for that.
When doing combat plexes in Minnie space i carry around Angel-tags, Gold/Silver/Platinum etc.
So, in Amarr space i would go with similar tags for the local NPC pirate flavor.

So it's to keep myself from not being able to complete a site that has only been partially completed?

Blood Platinum tags will specifically get you into Annexes. The first room is the only real danger in one (though honestly it isn't all that bad) so being able to skip directly to the second room can give you an advantage. You should be in and out and probably looted in less than five minutes with a tag. Without the tag you're looking at twice that easily. |

I'm not sure about Blood Raiders but the second room in a Sansha Annex is the painful one for me. Shooting 4 spider drones with no webs/drones would suck.
But yeah, Annexs are great sites since they are so fast and the BS faction rats can drop some good stuff as do the escalation , I ignore the last one since it drops way less loot than the smaller steps.
For Sansha Minor annexs are very east as well (I do them in a wolf for lols some times) and the final step can drop the same as a 6/10 (less the box) |

You may be confusing Annex with Minor Annex..
Annex isn't too bad, and the 2nd room spawns you at range with those 4 EM shield thingies, whereas the Minor Annex (I'm talking about Blood Raider here, btw) spawns the webbing spider drone triggers, and is the kind of site you should never warp a solo legion into.

Both are unrated sites, so they're not technically DED, just probe-able combat sites. |

Blood and Sansha have very different Annexes and Minor Annexes and their difficulties are indeed flipped. Blood Annex is pretty easy. Sansha Minor Annex is a walk in park, but Sansha Annex can be a pain (especially, as noted, the spider drones).
Blood Minor Annex though.... take those web drones, make them triggers, and make sure you're neuted dry. Incoming damage is only slightly less than in Sansha Annex. It's beastly and hardly worth the time/effort to even attempt. |
