Same problem, really annoying, the worst part is that the game is unresponsive whilst the map is loading, not great when warping on top of a hostile fleet! |

Problem still persists afther this patch.
Are u unable to reproduce the issue or you are just ignoring it completly since not enough ppl are complaining?

Yea I got the same issue!
The map takes about 15seconds to load and in the mean while the game is unresponsive.
Normally it would only take 1 second max for me to load the map!
I would rly like a fix for this. I think its only with a few people because most guys in my corp dont have this issue. |

An incredibly annoying bug during fleets. Being stuck on a gate unable to jump through with the rest of your fleet watching the map "Building model" for 30 seconds is more infuriating than changing corp wallet divisions and getting a session timer. |

same here, map takes 15-20 seconds to generate "per session".
Not that anyone will get to read this, every time I post on this ******** forum the the post disapears into thin air...

They redid the map model. It has to load JBs for people now and probably pre-loads sov as well, for everyone.
I would approve of it being returned to it's previous state+JBs, but not preloading sov |

yes this is super annoying and highly dangerous as it completely locks out all the controls. do it at a wrong moment and you'll get podded 50 times. At least make it so you can still control the ship........ |

Yep, I have this problem. Takes about 16 seconds he first time I open the map. The second time I load the map it doesn't take long at all, maybe a second at most. |

Confirming that going to another system and docking resets to the 15-20 second 'building model' screen + freeze. Do regular session changes affect this? |

I didn't really have the issue with it at all until I started using the sov and standing features......SERIOUS pain in the ass when I damn near got blown up because I managed to warp completely across a 140AU system before I could control my ship.
Previously, it was slow to load the first time and then fine unless I was trying to load it in station.....out in space it was fine. |

Same problem here, though the map isn't always slow to open, but when it's slow, its always using the most time on "initialized map" and "building model". |

Mine hangs on building model for a good 20 seconds. On my alts whom aren't in an alliance, the map loads instantly.
I believe it is solely tied to being in an alliance, as logging on the other alt clients with this character induces the same horrible loading time.

I believe the performance of the map loading is being addressed in an upcoming patch. It should be live on the singularity test server. |
