So there have been some hints in the new dev blog by Oveur about salvaging. This excites me greatly, I love the concept. So the real question in my mind is what kind of skills do you think will be required? Will it take new ships? or will it be a module you can place on existing ships (possible use for high cpu haulers?)?

Weirda think that the Burst will often be confused w/salvage... 
...and that it and other t1 friggies may get a salvage bonus...

Bah, I was salvaging ages ago, long before they came up with an official idea. 
Just a Heron with a scan probe launcher and off I went, merrily rescuing abandoned ships across the galaxy. I found a kestrel with cruise missiles still armed at one point, that's how long it had been at its SS.
