The eve client is not a device. It's an application, which is executed on a device.
Since this is so important to you, I think I can safely assume the device you run Eve on can support Emojis, so your work here is done. |

There are few enough places where chat boxes are limited. I'd just as soon keep Eve as one of them.

I oppose emijis in Eve. The abuse by scammers to make their local spam even more obnoxious would far outweigh any potential benefit. But there have been times when I wished for slash commands to augment the regular written word.
