Edited by: Kirran Srdjan on 27/09/2006 05:36:06 In the patch notes for Build 25245 you have this under fixes:
To use corporation minerals for manufacturing, the manufacturer must have take access to the minerals.
I think this is a bad idea. One simple reason is that you can grant a member access to the hanger to produce items without giving them the access to the hanger to steal from you. Does this really seem like a wise choice? My opinion, no. I liked the fact I could grant query access to a hanger so that someone could build from the hanger without being able to rob me blind of minerals.
Anyone else not liking this idea?

I was about to make a post on this.
While there are a lot of access controlson takign items, there are very few when it comes to production control. This was one item that helped on the production control. It makes it so if one was so inclined to steal, they'd at least have to buidl a bunch of stuff that has a better chance to be noticed, then jsut take it all strait out.
.... and while we're talking abotu access, any chance on getting better access restrictions on pos's. There needs to be a an access that splits the ability to use a pos's modules, and the ability to online/offline items, and the ability to online/offline/feed the control tower itself.
There are too many holes in the roles and various restrictions. Please don't create another hole by introducing this "Fix".
Thank you,
No matter how fast you turn your head, you'll never even catch a glimpse of what is going on around you... |

/signed. I would recommend you change the title of the post though so that people actually know what it's in reference to. It's hard to figure out which of these titles are just whiny rants, and which are actually constructive criticism about a specific item (which this is). Not everyone looks through every topic.
