I can't download the CCP patch at all. However, your patch DLed very quickly. How do I know I can trust this patch? Sorry for being suspicious, as I appreciate what you are doing, Grez, but I am just a little leary...

I've posted several patches before, quite a few people have downloaded them, with no issues.
Here are some ingame images to prove the authenticity of the .exe files.

I know this is limited proof (that could be another account for instance). But if you're worried, just don't download the patch, it's safer that way :). Those files, are straight from my cache folder aswell.

Nothing against you grez, the mirror you offer most likely contains the official patch.
But, I would hardly even trust my mother on the internet these days.

Both patches have a little error it seems (atleast for a lot of people). If you get a critical error, do the following.
Right click on the EVE, select properties, then select "COMPATIBILITY" tab, and tick the tick box at the top, and select "Windows 98 / Windows ME" mode. It should work then.
This only happens for some people though.

I can never connect to EVE's download sites. I have downloaded the patch from Grez serveral times, as soon as I see its patched now I start looking for his forum post. Thanks Grez

First off: Thanks Grez. This is the only way I can get patches, and I do appreciate your helping those of us out who can't seem to get help from CCP. I just downloaded the patch and am running eve now. For what it's worth I obviously trust him, and I don't even know him. Thanks again.

I want to thank GREZ for mirror patch again. He is the only one I can count on to be able to patch. I always have issues with the autopatch and he is awesome enough to post and link it.
1M isk to you my friend anytime in game. You have saved my butt the last 2 patches to get in. I cant say enough good crap about your help here. Thanks.
