What can I do to boost the FPS I get, All and any suggestions are welcome I'm even wiiling to upgrade hardware if necessary.
Current System ------------------- Mobo: VIA P4MA Pro (Pro Savage Video 32Megs)-I don't use Intgrated Video) CPU: 1.7 Ghz Celeron 128mb L2 Cache (Socket 478) RAM: 1.0 GB (2x 512) PC2100 Video: AGP 8x/4x (On 4x) ATI Diamond Stealth 9200SE 128MB DDR RAM HD: 40GB Maxtor 7200RPM Sound: Integrated Sound AC'90 (err sumtin I'll edit later when I double check) Network: 10/100MB Realtek Ethernet (Via AT&T Yahoo DSL 6.0 MEGS D/L 1.5MEGS U/L)
*I just bought recently the ATI card for like $100(USD) in order to play EVE but I keep hear that most ATI are kinda crappy for EVE and was kinda thinking of changing to a nVidia based card what should I do? What should I upgrade next or change? Again any and all suggestions are welcome.....

You spent 100 dollars for that piece of crap? Nothing wrong with ATI, but that card is the absolute worst card from two generations ago, and is hardly worth 5 dollars.
You can do better for 10 bucks on ebay.
Upgrade your graphics card... though your CPU's pretty bad too. If your motherboard supports a Pentium 4, get a Northwood, maybe 2.4-3Ghz, at least.

Damn I wish I knew that before hand, good thing I sent in the $50 rebate, Although I should've read the forums first before buying the card, I'm gonna switch over to nVidia & get a P-IV CPU, thanks for the info.

Get a 6600GT or better for the card. An x800GTO is a great deal also.
Make sure it fits your AGP slot, of course.

Ok after a long time of researching and buying I've got a pretty good setup, my proformance went from 9-10 FPS to 27-30FPS. now that a big improvement but unfortunatly I want more so now Im thinking of upgrading my mobo. My current one limits me severely, so I want to move up into a 775 socket mobo mainly to use core 2 duo, now of course its gotta have agp 8x minimum cuz I spent a sizable chunk on the graphics card and I'm very happen with that purchase, (I saw literlly a 300 percent proformance boost across all the games I play) but I now know that my mobo is my biggest and probably have been my main bottleneck in the system, so now after reviving this thread I pose this new question for anyone to answer would it be better to step up to Core Duo 2 or will it be better to move onto a AMD CPU and mobo??
Please be specific/

Socket 775 with C2D will also require new ram ( DDR2 to be specific).

Actually, the Radeon 9200 runs Eve just fine. Eve's graphics requirements are quite low, unlike it's CPU requirements which is insane.

This has not been true for over a year. Nowadays I find it can be very graphics-bottlenecked, especially with a card like the 9200 SE.
