Kerpow	Posted - 2006.09.30 14:16:00 - [16] I have learned that someone else bid on the char in game and offered 1.3bil for it. The "sale" has taken place even though the buyout sale was already agreed between the original seller and myself here. According to rules 16: "Trading is not binding, if one party does not honor an agreement made on these forums, ISD or CCP may not be able to help you." Since it says "may not be able to help you" does that mean that ISD or CCP will try to help but that it's not guarenteed? I have convo'd the new owner and he is aware of his actions being dishonourable and sneaky but he says "lol @ CCP, they wont do anything". Will CCP/GM's sort this and make players stick to the auction rules that the player sets up? Also, the seller sent me 20mil isks because he knows it was wrong and that he is sorry. If he is sorry then 10% of the extra isks he got for the char is poor way of showing how sorry he is. I hope that CCP/Mods/GMs will resolve this so that the auctions are run as proper auctions and so that players can have confidence in the auction system. I would like the character for the buyout price as agreed in this auction.
