Mods, please explain if you won't allow anymore discussion on the reaction of CCP on banning (or rather not banning) exploiters.
I'd just like to know.
If this is a subject we are no longer allowed to discuss here, maybe its time to inform other gaming sites about CCP letting exploiters run wild without any punishment in EVE. Then its time to try and get this 'slashdotted' methinks.
This will not go away by ignoring it CCP. It's time you realize that.
Don't let inaction against exploiters ruin the reputation of this game and its attractiveness to new players. Fixing exploits is good, punishing exploiters is better.

You've never been able to discuss exploits on the forums. CCP has never and will never publicly discuss punishments.
As for threatening to try to slashdot EVE, maybe it's time for you to take a break and calm down? -- Lil Miner Newbie Skills Roadmap | CCG Card Lookup |

All he's asking for is reassurance from the dev's that something has indeed been done.
A simple post stating the banstick hit 20 accounts and 100 bill ISK was confiscated (for example) would be most welcome and restore my faith that exploiting doesn't buy 0.0 realestate.
Is that too much to ask?

hmmm? I'll await the CCP response, if any?

If CCP is confident about the validity and appropriateness of their reaction, surely they don't object some more publicity?
And I don't see it as a threat to CCP, I see it as consumer service to potential new customers. We have hundreds, thousands of internet sites detailing the pro's and con's of various products as a service to consumers.
Slashdot.org serves that function for a certain part of consumer products, such as MMORPGs. Nothing more, nothing less.

Please do not discuss moderation, Bans and Exploits on the Eve Forums.
This is a breach of the forum rules and TOS.
Thanks.

CCP may want to consider the signal that it is sending to the player base. By failing to show that decisive corrective action was taken with respect to the complex spawn exploit, aren't they in effect signaling that they are unable or unwilling to protect the integrity of the game?
Also, if we accept that players have been petitioning about the bugged complexes for over a year and CCP devs "just learned" about the exploit last week, doesn't that show a fundamental flaw in the GM/petitioning system?
