I made my Scorpion's loadout like below. I'd like to have any feedbacks and comments about Pvp and NPC hunting :
H slots: 3xHeavy Anode Particle Stream (X-Ray) 2xH-50 Arbalest (Hydra FoF) 1x (Empty Slot)
M slots : Supplemetal scanning CPU X5 Prototype I Abandon targeting Indirect scanning dampering unit Initiated multispectral ECM I Faint warp prohibitor I MWD Warp core stabilizer
L slots : 2xPower diagnostic system I 2xF-43 repeatative multifrequency
my skills are like : Eng 4 Elec 4 EW 4 Missile 4 M energy turret 4 other EW skills 3 navigations mostly 3-4 have a nice day

Ok, 1 ECM or 1 dampener will get you absolutly NOTHING. You need 4 dampeners or ECM for them to be of any use. Multispectral ECM my be good on paper, but will suck your cap FAST, especially if you use lasers.
Standart should be: 1 MWD (at least if you hunt activly for your prey and don't await it at a gate. 1 20k warp jammer 1 webber 1 sensor booster (since the scorp has a way to long locking time) the other 4 slots should be either fitted with 4 sensor inhibitors or 3-4 ship specific ECM. 3 Is enough to jam a BS without countermeasure, but I'd rather go for 4 to counter ECCM, if there are any.
You could try tracking inhibitors, but for those you have to stay in movement, and you should better equip at least 3 as well.
And drop the warp core stab - it won't help you much if people are really hunting you.
Energy weapons are a bad solution on a scorp as well - ecm takes cap - I would rather go for projectile.
Don't use FoF missles, either heavies, cruise or torps. I prefer cruise.

... Keep some FoF spares in the cargo bay, though; might make a difference every now and then...

True, they can be useful if you are jammed by some gants (aka frigs), which somehow managed to kill your drones.
BTW - train for heavy drones, those are your defence #1 against frigs (or a lone BB).

You also should NEVER leave a high slot empty. I you have little grid/CPU left put a S launcher in there loaded with defenders maybe, or put an autotargetter there (not too useful activated, but just having equipped it gives you +2 to max locked targets).

It has various roles an example of which is below:
Holder/grabber - if you're not alone
Use 5 med-slots for webber/warp jammer combination, 2 for sensor boosters, and one for MWD.
If you're in Empire Space, go for 4 neutron blasters and 2 vampires.
This means you get up close and use your blasters to good effect while friends warp to you or, if already present, spank the ******.
Being close means you're going to get hit less by the inevitable tachyons or even 1200mm's while your close-range blasters do a good job and, if he is firing missiles, he'll be splashing himself too.
If you're in 0.0 space go for 4 launchers and 2 blasters but be aware that your missiles will be pushing him away but will also disrupt his warping if he manages to scramble beyond the range of your warp scramblers (a little burst of your mwd will get him back in range).
Put what you like in lo-slots - you'll most likely need a power diagnostic to boost your powergrid sufficiently to cope with the 4 blasters. you can either go for dmg mods, if you're feeling confident, or armour hardening equipment if you want a bit of strength.
Lone Gunman
4 slots dedicated to ECM modules (I'm not telling you what to use there!), 1 sensor booster, 2 warp jammers, and MWD.
Hi-slots as above depending where you're hunting.
Lo-slots the same.
Being a Lone Gunman you're going to find it difficult to kill a battleship alone but you may get lucky.
You could swap a warp jammer for a webifier but 1 webber against a battleship with an MWD is a losing battle.
There are other PvP setups you can use but I can't be bothered to type them out.
For NPC you'll probably want to use 4 1200mm's with 2 missile launchers, 3 tac shields (em, heat, and explosive), 1 sensor booster, 1 tracking cpu, 1 decent med shield booster, and an MWD.
Lo-slots would be 1 power diag and 3 proj dmg mods.

OK here goes, one of my rat hunting setups.
Hi slots 2mega beams, 4 launchers with cruise(keep defender missiles in bay, and change quick if needed).
Lo slots 1 grav backup, 3 cap rechargers.
Med slots 1 MWD 1 scrambler 1 sensor booster 1 thermal hardener, 4 dampeners(-57%).
Now here is the good part, always carry 4 of all ecm types in cargo, scout your enemy, fit the related ecm and hey presto.
Dont flame me, this setup works, and i should know.
try this and im sure the corpses will build up my friend:)

Yeah, darth, I agree about the part about carrying the ECM but mega beams?
I guess it's your choice but I'd prefer blasters + dmg mods combined with EM torps.

Well, come on, i cant write a novel on ALL that might happen.
If you are 5 jumps from a station, then just use your dampeners.
The ECM is there as a backup in case u know which ship u will be up against. and should always be carried by Scorp pilots.
u always get a smartass dont u??, but what if this and what if that ., makes me laugh.

Woa. That was a horrible Scorpion setup...
You need to play around with electronic warfare and see what works before you get in a battleship and equip it for PvP. You got a 50 mill ship there mate, please spend some time learning how to play on its strengths.
