Hi there :)
Im a Minmatar trained Howitzer/Autocannon character, which until now was trained into shielding - for most minmatar boats this works fine.
Recently i got a invite to join into some WH action with friends and not wanting to crosstrain my weaponry, im now asking if anyone has any thoughts/idea's/suggestions to a Armor tanked ship, for WH C3/4/5 - in a gang - using Howitzer/Autocannons.
(not any other weapon types), and i am - already gonna (later on) cross train into Caldari battleships, and perhaps even some of the others - so the ship type isnt that importent either.
Any idea's for this? (Oh, and i dislike capboosters - its more likely i wanna try a cap-xfer with a gang-mate)
So - basicly the "profile" the ship should fit is:
- Using Autocannons/Howitzers
- Armor Tanked
- WH C3/4/5 in gang-"able"
- Preferly Cap xfer (chain) instead of cap boosters, if not possible to gain cap stability (boosters are only in "last case".)

Armor tankable, utility slots for cap xfer, and you're training into large missiles soon....sounds like you want a Typhoon to me. |

No - not gonna train into missiles. The caldari training is aimed towards the ECM boats - Scorpion primarly.

Looks very good. Thanks..
Btw.. assuming i would later go for a T3, what would be recommended ?
Some say tengu, some say legion.. i guess legion in a way would make sense since many of the gunnery support skills would already been trade, so would armor..

Yea T3s are really good for this kind of encounter, if you still need to do armor RR in it you can only choose between proteus or legion if you want the 10-50% rr bonus from defensive subsystem, the other 2 have shield transport bonus. |
