I was pondering the possible implications of ASCN and BoB poking each other in the forehead and a few things came to mind..
Do any of you suppose that if ASCN is under attack for a while it will dramatically affect high end mineral prices? or Battleship prices?
how big of an economic impact on EvE does ASCN have compared to the other alliances?
does anyone actually forsee a long drawn out conflict? or is it, as i believe, going to be a quick surgical strike to remove certain production capabilites
am i going to have to pay 9002 isk for my shuttle now? oh noes!

You mean compared to all the minerals they have been using to build a titan(or titans)? 
I don't think it will make a significant effect at all.

Most of those were skimmed off the top in order to keep it a secret (I presume). So if Titan is 150B total in mins + ISK for bpc and refine rate is 10% .... jejeje

Mineral and BS prices? No.
I would be more worried about T2, considering how many T2 BPOs are owned between BoB / ASCN.

Not only that if you also consider all the T2 goodies that will go to module heaven. Thinking of guns, senser boosters, ecm that kinda stuff wich will be bought in nice quantitys or seeded in smaller depending on who has the bp

There will be no real impact on the economy of eve due to the limited amount of fighting and the huge amount of petitions that are going to be posted because of node crashes. Petitions don't affect the economy.

Very little impact. I don't know about BoB, of course, but most of ASCN's T2 and BS sales are within the alliance. And those that aren't, a small amount, are safe in Empire where they don't attract a lot of attention. Of course, all production will be focused on the war, but the above mentioned empire stuff won't be missed by Empire dwellers. Someone else will quickly fill any vacuum that occurs.
Minerals, there may be a bit, but with all the rest of 0.0 contributing, it won't be very noticeable. I mean, we've been dedicated to the production of a Titan and war supplies for how many months? Not that many of our mins actually made it to Empire to be sold. So I doubt they'll be missed.

Just thinking of economics,
if BoB and ascn aligned or even merged they could prolly wtfpwn Concord. And push the CCP bullies into high sec systems only. Then what would that do for economics????

There is always TRUST happily supplying the masses with T2 
And we do sell to everybody, even to these who attacked our little venture in EC. Having said that, seeing these very same ppl fighting each other now does make me chuckle a little ... 
But there is always war in eve. NPC'ers and missionrunners probably just lose as many BS as PvP'ers, if not more. And mineral prices dont really change overnight either ...

Seriously though, the lack of ASCN and BoB gank squads roaming around the other carebearing areas of 0.0 will probably allow those not at war to more than compensate for the lost mining/production in the south.

During the GREAT NORTHERN WAR it cost between 120-150M for a tier 2 battle throughout the entire conflict. Trit prices approached 4 isk and zydrine was 5k. If I remember correctly.

t2 large weaponry will go up in price by 10-20%
modules like sensor booster 2's and tracking computers the same.
all the lower amarr empire regions will see a 20-40% spike in high end mineral prices as ascn pushers decrease. Should the war drag into delve/period basis i would expect the same for their closer empire regions.
areas near the pipes down the war zones will see increased economic acticity and price spikes and BS shortages.
t2 hac prices will go up too.... because they always do.
