This is a guide to how to be a good scammer and the ability's that scammers need that will make them good at what they do.
The people that scammers prey on are usualy: stupid, greedy, ignorant, and usualy a combination of all those things.
They think they are making easy isk or screwing someone else over for their own good fortune while infact they are being scammed.
I said ignorant because a lot of the people that get scammed are usualy warned not to proceed in their venture but out of greed or stupidity do so anyways.
Highly profitable scamming takes a high level of inteligence.
Scamming is a art upon itself.
There are many abilities that the scammer usualy needs to rely on.
Good scamming requires a combination of the following:
1. A good imagination (to decide what your scam will be).
2. The ability to think outside the box (find a good way of carrying out the scam).
3. The resourcefulness to make sure the scam still gets carried out well encase of unforseen bumps in the road (the ability to satisfy the interogative questions skeptic people ask).
4. The ability to out think your opponent (the scammer needs to be one step ahead of them so you know in advance what to prepare for).
5. Knowledge is power (try to get atleast some type of information on the person you are going to scam).
6. Knowing when to call it quits (if the scam get out of hand, knowing when to stop while your ahead).
7. Good bait to entice your victim (usualy a get rich quick scheme that requires little effort)
8. Location (If your broadcasting to 10 people you are never going to get anywhere, try your best to get a crowd).
9. Timing (dont run your scam nonstop, make a good profit and then let people forget about what happened, wait a few weeks and do it again).
10. Dont break the rules (make sure when you are scamming you dont break any of CCP's rules, no point in having a lot of isk in your wallet if your accounts banned).
11. Ignore certain people (When you have your scam running and people start screaming "Scam" "Scam" "Scam".. Ignore them, it will sometimes make other people ignore them also by getting into a conversation with them the potential victims will start having doubts instead of quickly dismissing hwat they just saw).
12. Think fast (if someone asks you a question and you take long to answer they will get very suspicious).
Thats all I could think of for now.
Happy Scamming!

Could you be any less specific?
All fluff and no substance imo.

Well you went flat on your face while I was present this evening. Seems that having someone with less than 24 hours cry "Help me, help me" over a billion isk error is sure going to encourage those with a few hundred million of isks and zero ounces of sense to come running to your rescue.
That is according to you, a scammer, of course.

Right, im sick of seeing this moron spamming the EVE-Radio channel every bloody day with this pointless retarded drivel. Someone needs to ban this idiot from the game, he screws up my enjoyment of the channel and it is backward little 'tards like him that screw up the escrow market.
And as for your "how to be a good scammer", dont make me laugh. Having just ead through your little list id say your mother still helps you get dressed in the morning and one of your hobbys must be salivating on panes of glass. Get lost.
/rant off
EDIT: Haha, Oh and as for not breaking the rules, im afraid you have. If I remember correctly, constantly spamming a CCP run channel with your scam could constitute harrassment. You have been seen spamming this crap in EVE-Radio chanel and last night in the help chat channel. I will be filing a petition with CCP to get you and your other chars kicked from the game.

Scammers who use their MAIN character are playing Eve.
Scammers that use alts for the purpose of avoiding meaningful risk are THE ultimate worthless lamers of Eve.
Think about it......
There is a trinty in Eve of "risk", "work" and "reward".
With all the whining about folks who farm level 4 missions, Mission Farmers at least work for their Isk. Alt using scammers take less risk, and don't even grind (No, putting stuff on escrow does not count when compared to mission grinding)
For every player who has EVER felt that some methods of play lacked risk and work, Alt scamming is the worst by far.
But to repeat what I said at the start, if a scammer uses his MAIN character (The character that actually flys around in expensive ships purchased by scam proceeds....), then he is playing properly.

That would be alot funnier if that wasn't exactly how most real life get rich scams work.
Buy my book, tapes and come to my conferance and I'll show you how to make money. (by selling my book and tapes to other morons)

Sergeant Spot walks into a bank.

14. Don't do your scam without being part of at least 2 corps for at least 1 month each preferably so you can build up reputation and have friends who trust you. ---

This is just getting sad. It seems like every petty little thief in EVE thinks they can write a guide on scamming and become remotely popular for about five minutes. It makes me sick, if you're really a good scammer, keep your methods to yourself and stop plastering the forums with this crap. Ever since article in pc gamer about an eve scammer, and the more recent 700bil bank scam, petty scammers want to jump into the spotlight as long they can before people stop caring.
