just another war there are wars everywhere only because there are some "celebrities" involved, i should wet my pants and get excited? hell no
Its a war that will involve a huge number of people and change the entire political structure of half of EVE.
It involves ASCN and their allies, a huge massive power block, and Band of Brothers and their allies and friends.
Its probably a good 1/3-1/2 of alliances in EVE that will end up involved in this. If you think it doesn't affect you, you're wrong.

Exactly Dark.
If BoB succeeds in their attack against us, do you really think they'll stop there? No, BoB will continue with their "nice region, we'll take it" motto.
They're attacking us out of boredom, so if they don't succeed in killing us, they'lll just go after someone else. So yes, this war will influence all of EvE, indirectly or directly.

Bah I started playing because I liked space ships...
If they replaced all the spaceships with cars, i've very quickly stop playing.
new content = justification for paying a subscription.
player driven content and activies often go in repetive cycles, and if there is a general stagation in game events (which there has been since RMR) all your player based stuff will eventually seem tinted by grey.
Bottom line, If new content is crap or none existant = I stop paying my subscription.

Btw this MMO vs E-sport elitism is really starting to get on my nerves. I've probably had more fun (player driven activity wise) from attending Lan events or CPL compititions than i've had over my extended period playing this game, sometimes it's just the fact I like flying and shooting stuff in space which actually keeps me here.

I must admit I started to get bored over the last few months, nothing seemed worth doing anymore. Im not much of a battle PvP'er as im not very confident so I decided Id take up mining and building. With missions to fund my little 1 man corporation and my goal of getting a Hulk getting ever closer Ive gotten a new lease of life in the game.
There are so many things to do here if you just do what I did. Just stop and look around you, see how many wonderful things there are to do, how many goals there are to achieve both on your own and with other people.
The only limits I have found in EVE are my own imagination and the depth of my determination. If you lack either of these then you will become jaded and bored very quickly. Dont expect to be "Given stuff to do" this isnt like any other MMO where content is forced upon you, you have to go out there and take it.
Go forth and prosper little EVE buddy, take it and make it yours. Fly safe and good luck.

In some ways, yes I'm bored.
Part of this is that the servers haven't been stable enough for anyone to launch any major offensive campiagns, so things have been pretty quite.
On the other hand I'm just not "into" eve that much right now. Summer usually means I don't play online very much because I'm never actually home. But with fall coming and Kali coming, I see good times ahead. ___________________________________________ The deeper you stick it in your vein, the deeper the thoughts there's no more pain. ___________________________________________

And the best part is, I'm red to both of them anyway, so it's just going to be a shooting gallery. Woot. ___________________________________________ The deeper you stick it in your vein, the deeper the thoughts there's no more pain. ___________________________________________
