Thats real combat, that's EVE in my opinion. If you are stupid enough to make yourself vulnerable to a stranger, expect to be exploited. That's certainly one of the things Brabid was saying that you didn't get - that he wasn't in the slightest bit interested in having a pre-ordained 'fair fight' with you. If he was gonna come, he would come to win - but its probably much more worth his while staying in syndicate and popping some rats. ________________________________________________ A Journey....

I really didn't expect a fair fight - and I wasn't planning on giving him a fair fight even if he was expecting one. I had a trap set for him, was really hoping he'd come for it. I flew with this guy before and he all he talks about is how his uber faction scorp or rattlesnake will pwn every other ship in the game. I haven't really seen him in a non ecm ship yet but that's probably because it'd make it harder for him to get away if he bit off more then he could chew. I didn't get it though. He wouldn't engage in a damn frig fight - I mean damn.... you lose a frig and life moves on. That's not the issue - the issue is that sets himself up to be so big that he can't possibly live up to his expectations - thus can never confront you in anything he says he will as he will never live up to the standards he set for himself. I hope that clarifies this a bit for you Nev. And if you happen to wonder why I posted this, it's because I told him I would if he did not confront me.

Frankly I don't think this BRaBID could have backed up his claims and that is why he refused, not because he is wise or a good player, simply because he is infact like so many people who make claims they simply cannot see through to the end, probably even lied about his age too, sounded remarkably similar to all those young teens who like to show how good they but was put off when he noticed that Frag wasn't a child. It's a common occurance on the net, BRaBID wanted to feel big and so claimed he was but when challenged he simply runs away. Frag, you stood to learn nothing from BRaBID and those saying that Frag doesn't get it are being idiots too, it wasn't a question of honor or even a thinly veiled message of "You don't want to agree to a fair fight with me, I won't honor it", it was simply pomp and vanity. Person A: "I'll mop the floor with you" Person B: "Ok come and try" ~Person A plans on coming for a fight and talks about putting money on the fight, then agrees to come. Then mysteriously leaves the convo after agreeing to. ^ That was what got to me Nev ofcourse I wouldn't have persued it if it didn't. But let me say it again for you because this just isn't getting though to you - it's the context that's funny/wtf on his part. Read what he's actually saying and think for a sec... wtf is this dude thinking. That was the "funny" to me atleast. Though you keep going on about how I planned to dishonor a frig fight if you like.
