I'm considering seting up a corp for my accounts and a few friends. We'd like the use and facilities a corp hangar would provide, but we are uncertain as to the costs and on going upkeep of such a venture.
Can anyone provide any advice?

Corp setup fee is small (a few min at most) the part that gets expensive is offices.
Other than that there isn't many fees involved. -----------------------------------------------

I have read the rules. Nowhere in there does it give this advice, nor does it prohibit my asking. You really need to troll better.
Nahual, thank you. It was the associated costs that we're my concern. Theres two places where I'd like to have corp hangars, but thats all. We are mainly a Mining/manufacturing/Missing running group (not into PvP), although some do likie the idea of PvP.

As has been said, the prices per month isnt too bad, depending on location.
My corp have monthly rents ranging from 10 000 isk a month to 72 000 000, so you might want to avoid the more expensive stations/systems until you have built the foundation of the corp.
Good luck with the startup of the corp btw, we are fairly new and the first few months was good fun figuring stuff out

If you look around hard enough, there are some very good and cheap officers. I paid 10k ISK per month for all 8 station facilities and it sells skill books and near many facilities. -----------

Esse3ntially what it costs to setup corp, is the progressive loss of sanity, windering where time spent has gone, loss of hair - pulled out trying to please everyone.
Advice, Don't have directors, just have minions. Dictatorship - sod this democracy business ! Don't try and please people, if they don't like it they can leave - simple Make them all mine to make you rich, bugger off with the money when rich.

Time does fly faaast while trying to keep the corp running..tick tock and suddenly its time to refuel POS or pay rent, just as you were getting ready to go on a corp ops.
Dictatorship in a form seems to work fine. Listen to your members, but someone has to make the final call.
Put down some FIRM ground rules to avoid confusion....but from what you wrote in original post, your a bunch of friends (RL?) so this might not apply.

I was suprised when I formed the Corp. Cost me 1.5 mill with no warning or price advertised anywhere (that I saw).
Just have to find the best place for offices now. I have a few I'm interested in, but I have to check them out. It's been over a year since I visited them last.

The price is 1,599,800 isk. A point to note, the cost is the same no matter where you create it. You can recruit from your HQ without an office. This means, when you create your corporation, you can pick somewhere centrally located, that would ordinarily be expensive ( say, Jita 4-4). You won't have an office, but you can take applications there.
