The Cowboys should change their name to "Bob Ryan's team" because America sure as hell doesn't claim them.

On a side note, the Cowboys haven't been the same since Tom Landry was fired. Sure they have seen success, but look at all the arrests, prison sentences, drug busts, and underage prostitutes ever since.

I would hardly blame Landry's "sacking" for the current status of the NFL.
When the Cowboys lost Aikman, Emmet, and Irving... they lost their "America'a team" status. Now it's probably the Patriots. It used to be the Packers... twice. It changes from time to time... my only hope is that it becomes the Texans at least once (not that I really care... it would just glorify Houston).
