Just come back to eve and i note new armour skills
Explosive armour comp etc
but i don't understand they do!
1) do they effective active hardners when turned on?
2) at lvl 5 would'nt they make passive hardners better than active?
ok so active need a bit of cap - but only tiny ammounts
er but nice to me a not complex maths please 1+2=k algerbas out...

NO, they don't. If they are offline, they get a plane 3% per Lvl.

No. T2 passive have 37.5% resistace. With Lvl. 5 it is 37.5*1,25 = 46.875% resist.

BTW 3 Energized Adaptive Nano IIs give the same boost to each resist as an active hardener II, when specialist skill trained to level 5. It's like fiting 4 active hardeners, one for each resist, using onnly 3 slots and no cap. Add in a Damage Control, which isn't effected by any stacking penalty and you're well away.

Do you have to train all 4 skills to max to get the benefit for adaptives? Thats a lot of training.. but tempting

Technically, you CAN only train up the resists your race's ships are weaker in...
But it isn't THAT long to get them all up!
