It's a game for life and everyone is a loser It's something I heard about around 5 years ago at uni - basically the entire idea is to forget about the game, when you remember you've just lost, you say "I've lost" and it's your responsibility to tell everyone around you about the game. A thread just reminded me off it (6 months i've gone without losing!) So I figured I'd find out if anyone else plays - I've heard of this game being played all over the UK and I wonder how far it has actually spread (maybe there's been a thread on this before? - searching "The Game" is unhelpful ).. And yes I know it's completely pointless and probably causes psychological problems, but that in itself makes it great

I've been part of this game for almost 4 years now, my cousin told me about it and i introduced my sisters and my uni mates to it. I usually forget about it for weeks or months at a time and then something will remind me of it or one of my friends will suddenly say "damn, i've lost". Once you're in the game there's no escape!
