Could we please get rid of the Eve O forums?

So many idiots, trolls, cynics, hypocrits, generally evil, hostile people, it makes me sick! Dear, CCP! Could you PLEASE shut down the Eve O forums, clear all the nagativity, trolling and whatsoever, best clear all posts whatsoever for upcoming Kali release, don't let anyone but Devs and ISD post information and let people solely send questions in emails you then answer in a mail or the new forums in a new and good form of Q&A??? I mean this...the forums are a majour reason I'm losing faith in the game. And to all you trolls...FRAKK OFF!

Sure there are trolls on the forums, but the forums are the only means of open communication between CCP and the players. You'll just have to ignore the trolls or ignore the forum all together and stick with the dev blogs. I feel your pain though. ---------------- Meet... bunneh:

I read through 4 pages of a thread...the OP making some interesting points about how Eve is such a diverse game and there are so many diverse playing styles and that it is bad that CCP tends to push everyone towards the PvP branch with most of the recent changes and nerfs... That was the Op... Followed by 4 pages of "This is not the game you are looking for" "Join a PvP Alliance" "Insure your ship, go to low sec, get it blown up" "This is a PvP game" "Can I have your stuff?" "Go play WOW!" Its the fact that people do not understand that there are OTHER people out there playing the game in anOTHER way and bashing on everything that is not their point of view and style of gameplay. I tried PvP, I find it lame to draw fun and ego out of the destruction of other people's assets, I don't like PvP, I don't do it anymore (other than on the market). But Eve has/had so much more ways to have fun and it just makes me sick that so many of the adrenaline junkies/kiddies don't even have the brain capacity to imagine just that. Its not another game Non-PvPers are looking for... Its tolerance, maturity and dignity...

Its hard and its annoying having to lock threads because ppl sometimes forget their common sense and act like a child. Sometimes making a post like the op tends to cause alot of negative and hostility towards the op. Which then in turn ends up with yet another locked topic or worse deleted Try to remain calm and not rise to the forum trolls, less ammo u give them the better, they may eventually go away, maybe.... Maybe CCP can create a blog that all the CCP staff can use to communicate information about current issues and planned features to it's players. I imagine the Devs would have the most use for this as they are creating the game content and fixing the problems, so for the sake of simplicity we can call it a 'Dev Blog'. I purpose that we put a link to access it under the Forums link on the navigation bar on the left of the eve-online website. I think this will work out great for everybody, as the trolls and idiots can keep their forums to pass on useful information about the happenings in the game, discuss possible future features, get advice on fitting ships and generally playing the game.
