Hey experts,
i'm looking for a hauler, but this cargo space is annoying
i heard good things about iteron V or mastodon?
which ship can have the biggest possible cargo, using secure cans?
it's mostly intra-system hauling so i dont care for speed
Anyone knows which ship and what m3 i can reach with time?

Max is impel + 7 local hull cargos.
But it will be...slow.

With an Iteron V and 5 +27.44% expanders, I have a cargohold of 25.211m¦, boosted to 32.411m¦ with 8 Giant Secure Containers in it.
I think that the Gallente and Amarr Deep Space Haulers can get more than that, having 6 and 7 lowslots respectively (with base cargoholds of 5000m¦ and 4000m¦, again in that order), but I don't own one currently ...

Do bear in mind that whil you can carry 32411m3 of, say, trit, you can't carry any object where a single unit is more than 3900m3, or anything that can't be put in a giant can.

Yup, but those 5 expanders cost a sickly amount too 
I use it on my second account as a "corp hauler" when we do a mining op, it can grab a full can and then some in one go, really nice 
If my maths are right, the Occator (Gallente Deep Space Hauler) can get to 26774m¦ with +27.44% expanders, and you can stuff 8 Giant Secure Containers in there for a total of 33974m¦; while the Impel (Amarr Deep Space Hauler) can reach 27296m¦ with the same expanders, just enough to hold 9 Giant Secure Containers, for a grand total of 35396m¦ ... but since I don't own those ships, that's just a theorical figure ...

Or, without Giant Secure Containers, one item of up to 25000m¦ ... I used mine to deliver a few other industrials, 20000m¦ repackaged, you can even fit two repackaged frigates in the hold on top of the industrial ...

Carrier of course. 3k+ cargo + 10k corp array + can fit a couple of haulers in the maintance bay.

one you cant put stuff in the cargo of ships stored in a maint array
i think the rev can pull around 50km3 before cans
the carriers can also fit alot of stuff

FUnnily enough a naggy with snakes is the best way to do it; a rev will be so slow that it will be in negative speed numbers and you wont be able to move :p

An iteron V (6000 m3) is better than a mastodon (5250)space wise, but A mastodon can fit a t2 cruiser mwd and is thus far faster.

Doesnt maxed skills give you 81.25m/s on a rev? With 8 locals you'll get -80m/s. So you *can* still go... 1.25m/s. Har. Better hope you dont bounce off of the station.

If you plan to be an uber hauler, you're going to get a transport ship, and once you get there it doesn't really matter that much. The most popular transport ship is the Occator because everyone likes the Iteron Mark V and no one wants to train two racial industrial skills to lvl V.

You seem to be forgetting about titans.
Erebus + 7 local hull expanders = 354,857m3
Plus 100,000m3 corp hangar and whatever you can fit in the 5,000,000m3 ship hangar.

Carrier + Mammoth + Hoarder. (And if you want to be silly, Archon + expanders)
Of course an Impel with 7 Local Hull Expanders will get around 35k which is plenty impressive.
