If your not aware by now Stargate Sg1 has been canceled. But all is not lost large numbers of fans are mobilising behind a save stargate sg1 campaing and they need everyones help.
So Spread the word to every forum/bboard/irc channel/body.

I never really watched it on TV: the internet has supplied me with 8 series so far though.
Currently watching the last episode of season 7, and the program has definitely been in decline for a while. I thought it actaully got better when Jonas was added, and fell back a bit more when he left.
I'd say the show's main saving grace is O'Neill.

This reminds me of the time Farscape got cancelled. Fans united to get it back, and all they did was make up some lame as movie that did the show no justice. Sci-Fi has a habit of dumping good shows.

Please every episode is mckay overcoming some insamountable problem that non of the rest of the atlantis team can. Infact im having trouble trying to think of a season 2 episode where mckay doesn't save the day, cept perhaps micheal but that was most certainly a filler episode for the season cliffhanger.
And whats this on the horizon people made up of millions of little robots... hmmm wheres that been done before, atlantis needs alot more work to become the equal of sg1

I've never seen Atlantis, but that sounds amazing similar to another popular scifi series, recently cancelled

i loved SG-1 at the start, it jsut didnt kick in well later, maybe not enogh details. not big enogh, it leaves too much to the imagination.
well good luck, but i must Say, once a production company makes a dicision, no one ever makes them change their minds.
poor FireFly : (, wish there was more firefly series or similar concept ones.
i mean it was so simple, ship planets, travel around them.
not Startrek's search for more civilisations.
not stargate's well same as above but without a ship.
and lets not even mention Deep impact or whatever the name was fo that series with the blue chick

As much as I support the concept of 'saving' SG-1, the fact that the best people could come up with is OMGz put it on iTunes lol lol win!!!!one means the show really is doomed.

The digital idea is crap, so are the 'made for tv movies' they're tossing around. If there isn't going to be a season 11 on TV then let it die already. This Camelot and arthur's knights stuff is getting pretty stale anyway, it was much more interesting when it focused on the egyptian mythology.
I hated Atlantis when it came out, but lately I've been tuning in just for the McKay banter, the guy *****s me up.

It was not cancelled, the Sci Fi channel just elected not to buy any more episodes.
MGM is more than willing to continue making the series should another channel wish to pick up where the Sci Fi channel left off.
