So I was directed to this site looking for a system where I can mine Omber in Verge Vendor. I am near the system Claulenne and this cam up as having Omber. I went in there and no Omber to be found. I looked a little closer to the results I got on this site and noticed a way different sec for some systems. So how thrustworthy is this site? Anyone know of another site showing where what ORE is to be found?
TIA

UPDATE:
I checked a few more systems, no Omber to be found. Other sec-levels wrong. I think this map is crap.

The problem is most likely that someone else got to the Omber before you did. Because Omber is the most profitable high-sec ore, it will be cleaned out the fastest.
I have even seen systems cleaned out of Scordite. I have personally cleared a system of Scordite. Scordite respawns much faster than Omber. If a system can be cleared of Scordite it can certainly be cleared of Omber. Omber has become quite rare in high-sec.
As for that site, I have found it to be quite trustworthy. You just need to understand the principles on which it is based. Ore spawns based on sec level of the system. See this chart. That site provides a searchable DB for system sec level. Omber spawns in any system <0.7. While the site will tell you where it can spawn, it has no way of telling you if some else has already mined it all.

Maybe it is mined out, but...in 4 systems at the same time? Not even near each other? I have done my share of mining, also in Omber, until now I have never encountered such situation. Take into account that some seclevels are way wrong, I dont think I'll thrust this map/tool. Alas...

If you dont trust this site, its your problem, it takes me about 4 hours to clean 12 belt system from omber in hulk.
Till today i have had no problems with this site.

The site is very thrustworthy , it has helped me do my 2dMaps with no errors, and props to Toxic for maintaining the site.
If there is no omber in system, it means it has been mined out, and not that the website is 'crap' --

Is this really true? I thought asteroids generated after everydays downtime, and I am aware generation is percentagebased. But I never knew such limits for these ores existed. In that case I can believe they might be mined out. Is there a similar rule for other ores? If not, why specifically these ores?
