I trashed some implants once. Dont know if it still is but the the trash it button was right under plug in. So yea, but I pettitioned and was given them back within 30 mins (was a while back when there wasnt AS much pettition trauma).
If you accidently recycle / trash something you can pettition and get it back. Just dont sell / use the mins.
Edit: btw I didn't realize I had trashed them I thought I plugged them in and then went to check attributes. They were the same :P so I was like wtf?! Looked in implants tab and there werent any in and I was like omgomgomg and pettitioned to ask what happend to them because I plugged them in and havent died or anything since then. Got a message back with a GM saying "You trashed them" and telling me that he placed them back in my hanger :P

5 medium tech 2 drones is my worst since I've learned the game a bit, just a misclick and I did'nt even realize it until I noticed morphite in my hanger.

Did you know you can ask the gms to give it you back?? as long as the mins are still in the station as the station reporces's it..

Went 15 jumps to hulm to pick up a drone skill book (one of the expensive ones I think) for a friend, trashed it. Went back and picked up the same skill book and a newbie frig for another friend, came back, trashed the frig.
The Trash option is in the wrong place imo, it should have it's own separate button in the side bar. (Or the option automatically disappears along with all the chat windows when the yet to be invented Eve breathalyser comes out).

a med secure can with all my BPOs and skill books. Luckily the game did not destroy them but just dropped them in my hanger. Was a heart stopping moment though.

A while back I trashed a pile of good named heavy launchers that we (my corp) was collecting. Even then it wasn't worth a lot but I went ape in corp thinking people had been stealing

Reading the above about trashing implants and not getting them back hurts my feelings...
I once trashed an entire set of +5 implants... I petitioned and was told there was nothing that could be done :( This was back when they 1st hit Tranq. That hurt a lot !

A couple of +3/+4 implants.
- or at least thats what I think, since they went missing after a hangar clearout.
Build and sold Thoraxes for the mins.
Checked everywhere for them once I discovered they were missing :-(
So if you fly a T1 cruiser somewhere and think that bulkhead looks a little like an implant... you may be right.

I did a similar dumb thing... accidentally clicked yes to accept agent offer at 400k lps when i was saving for caldari navy raven :( but petitioned and the wonderful ppl at ccp reset it for me... how lovely.

I think it would be CCP's stupidity that they put the trash button literally right next to the "plug in" button or the like, so that a single mouse spasm will trash the item.

I thought I trashed my covert ops cloak, ever since then I have always repackaged ships before doing anything with them. Found it about a month after, turns out it was in a can all along.
