We are all the same - we are gamers. Most of us have probably even played WoW. I think the overall age is higher in this game, and therefore the average knowledge of keyloggers might be higher, but if it can happen to some WoW player, it can happen to some Eve player. :)

Firstly I think the IQ level is a bt higher here than there, but this may be just because we're a little bit more tight than them and the fact that WoW players are about 6 mil.
Also if they start to target eve online I think they would do us a favour as most of those runnig to the outside websites for help or whatever are those looking for isk and othe crap.
Legit corporations have their own wesites and forums and the eve-o forums are quite ok so I cannot see a need to go "outside".

You are forgetting the #1 factor on all fronts. Popularity.
WoW is a much more popular game than EvE, so there are many more people trying to get pass/CCs ect, since there are more victims.
As to "we have a higher IQ", you can say that each game has a % of idiots. Even if EvE let's say that 1% are idiots and in WoW 0.1% are idiots, there are still way more people to exploit in WoW than in EvE.

IQ has nothing to do with it. You can have a 200 IQ and be an avid WoW player. This has nothing to do with how smart you are, but how attracted you are to the most popular and vivid game is out there.
Also, IQ has nothing to do with age or experience. Just because you have the potential to be incredibly smart doesnt (yes, there should be an apostrophe, but my comp insists on activating Search when I press it. Please help.) mean you are. You can be 7 years old with a 200 IQ, but you will not know that people are predators and out to steal your identity.
Also, I have met many teens in this game who are "smarter" than forty-year-old Ph.Ds I know. What does that prove?
Its (see above) your gullibility\naivety quotient that matters. Nothing else.

EvE was attacked by a keylogger less than a month ago, you should really read the in game news once in a while...

Wow is customizable and users use alot of addons and plugins. Apparently people uploaded keyloggers disguised as plugins to popular sites.
