...and if I remember correcly the game was meant to release to the public in the first october week.
Could someone in charge pls tell us about the state of the release? Everything going as planned or do we get our second fix later?

According to Zack Walters, the EVE: The Second Genesis Organized Play Coordinator, the official release date is October 30th.
I really think they expected to get eve-ccg.com online in September though, judging by their request for articles over there, so I don't really know for sure how much they are on their timetable. Anyone official want to comment?

I haven't read a specific date anywhere. Could you reference that quote?

It was in private email I'm afraid, I was asking him about who the distributors were in my area and when my store would be able to order. In part of the response, I was told that the street date would be October 30th (this was for midwest United States, but I have no reason to believe it is not a universal street date).

Sorry for the delay here, but I was out of state visiting the girlfriend. It was either drive up to Ohio (from Georgia) this weekend, or face tiny girl wrath in November. Wrath is never good. 
Second Genesis will be released and available at your local retailers October 30. Barring any shipping delays, this is a universal date. I'm not sure of the vagaries of international shipping, but this is the only date I've been working with, so I assume everyone should be able to stop by the local shop and pick up a starter kit [shameless]or six[/shameless]. Release events are in the works, and if your local store owner wants to run one, have them contact me at [email protected] and I'll let them know about the details. If they haven't signed up for the store finder at the CCG site, they can also get their information to me through that.
